    The Epic Battle

    When you start out, two stealth fighters streak by high ahead. Hit the afterburners and follow the mission line to the first six targets. I'm warning you-these things are powerful. They look like skyscrapers, but they have three missle launchers on top. If you go straight on with them,they will blow about 500-1000 HP off your plane. They are arranged as follows:

    *= start *
    O= tower I
    F= fortification I
    I

    O O

    &nb sp; O O

    O O

    &nbs p; I

    O ___ O

    This map isn't totally accurate, but you have alot of targets here. To lose the least HP, start low, climb the tower, fire, and pull left/right. The last ground target is on top of the fortress. Don't stop jinxing until you have a lock, or you're dead. Afterwards, mop up the remaining fighters. An awesome VMU sequence will come up (watch it- it's worth it) followed by another black out.

    General Gameplay Tips

    1. Don't spend range to return to your Airbase if you've only used a few missles. It sucks to have to beat the little missions constantly.
    2. Always use guns to shoot down fighters, more money is good.
    3. When engaging with guns, use the cockpit window for the gun-sight.
    4. When there's a missle coming, hit the afterburners and dive, that should shake them.
    5.Be careful in small spaces-the manueverability is pathetic.
    6. For those of you who have played AFD for DC, be aware that this gameplay is more realistic.

    Inside the Giant

    You end up in a narrow passage leading into the main core. This map is upside down, but this is the path leading up to the core.

    The path is difficult, but not very challenging, just watch your airspeed for stalls. There's about twenty AA guns inside, but you have plenty (yeah right) of room to manuever. Destroy the two targets on the core, then head for the third in a little area down low. Come around, and the core will have opened up. Lightning bolts piercing the air, the last target is just inside. Get close enough to destroy it, and watch the bolts. Afterwards, another VMU sequence shows you trying to escape. (Oops, did I say that?) Watch it, and there you have it- you've beaten AFD Storm.

    Note:I've played and beaten it on easy. My apologies to those aces who are trying to beat it on medium or (GOOD HEAVENS) hard difficulty. Our luck and praise be with you.

    The Final Assult

    For those of you who have already been blown up, sorry I didn't post this sooner.
    Because i'm familar with the DC version, i had to set up the controls differently, but that's me. I chose the Warbler (F-25) because my BEE FATTY stalled in the mission and I bought the farm. The Warbler has 88 msls, stealth capabilities, and great manueverability/speed/defense/acceleration.
