corndog501, so what was the announcement then? I can't find it anywhere. It mustn't be as 'epic' as Cliff made it out to be if it's gone under the radar.

Uncharted 3 was the only one with gameplay and it looked better than every other trailer at the VGAs

This feels like nothing, although the Skyrim announcement was unexpected.

i have the say this award show was painful to get through. so-so celeberties trying to be entheusastic about video games and making lame video game jokes. A horrible way to spend my satuarday night. Well atleas the anoucements was sortha worth it.

Way to sum up all of Negata's articles that he spent his saturday on, a few days later you lazy mother fucker. . . Jk. . . Kinda. . .

For me these announcements were bigger and better than Sony's E3 this year. That being said, the rest of the show was terrible and the awards were a joke. (except RDR for GOTY)

Yeah like everyone was saying the show wasn't that great. But Neil Patrick Harris is still pretty awesome. Can't wait for Harold and Kumar 3!

While the actual awards show was an overall "meh" again this year (but then again, I wasn't exactly expecting it to not be... This is the Spike VGAs we're talking about here), the various announcements and reveals were indeed mighty spiffy business. Definitely got a lot to look forward to next year. But I have to get this out there... They should've called Prototype 2 "Production Model", because it would've been witty and clever. But instead, they went with generic "Prototype 2"... *sighs*

Uncharted 3 scared the Gears 3 announcement away, from what I read.
  • corndog501 - December 13, 2010 5:44 p.m.

Epic made the announcement 2 days before the award show that they were pulling their announcement from the show. While the article wasn't posted around a lot, they did say they weren't going to be there. So anyone who's pissed about not seeing Gears 3 there obviously didn't see the news article last week.

Where is the Gears of War 3 announcement that we were supposed to hear about?! Not only can they not even stick close to their deadline to when the game was originally announced for but now they can't even stick making the announcement that they were meant to make. Well I really don't give a shit about Gears 3 anymore if this is their attitide towards it.

arkham video is still down... something about mtv...
  • raisonbread - December 13, 2010 5:19 p.m.

I'm in the minority by liking SSX.
  • UnderdogMX - December 13, 2010 4:35 p.m.

Only some of those games will release on the actual dates and the best games will just get delayed one after another... Mark my words.....
  • Bloodstorm - December 13, 2010 4:34 p.m.

Can't wait for ME3. Finally getting to go to Earth (at least I hope) should be very cool. How much you want to bet that Shepard's endgame revolves around traveling through the Perseus Veil and recruiting the Geth against the Reapers?

Oblivion, Mass Effect, Uncharted, SSX, Batman...*orgasm*

    A) MGS Peace Walker Logo? B) Zombie poster thingy? What happened to A and B?
  • wolfwing187 - December 13, 2010 4 p.m.

I hope they bring back the idea for Co-op for Prototype 2. When I learned that the scrapped co-op for the first game I decided not to get it. Can't wait for Uncharted 3. The new Mortal Kombat is gonna be wickedly awesome. I hope all these games turn out well done.
