Bayonetta 2 has a two-player mode

Shares

Bayonetta 2 will incldue a standalone two-player mode. Nintendo announced at an E3 event today that Platinum Games' stylish action title is being developed as a single-player experience, much like its predecessor, but will feature some kind of fun for two.

The combination of GamePad and Wii Remotes or Pro Controllers allow for myriad multiplayer options, so we'll just have to wait to see what Platinum Games is thinking for the Wii U exclusive. Maybe one player could style Bayonetta's hair for optimal combos while the other plays?

Stick around for more news from E3 as it happens.

They actually put more layers on Bayonetta's outfit, I would have thought the opposite. That trailer was so awesome I'm getting a Wii U solely to play this game.

Maybe the mysterious hooded figure at the end of the trailer is the co-op partner?...

    Probably Jeanne.

Also that orange hooded kid has the Millennium Puzzle around his neck. So I'm 100% positive it is Yugi Moto.

And I'm guessing he still hasn't hit puberty after all of these years.
