Black Ops 2 Uprising pack out May 16 on PC, PS3
Mob of the Dead and four new competitive maps for $15
Activision has revealed the release date for Uprising, the latest map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and it's May 16, exactly a month after the pack launched on Xbox 360. Almost as if it were predetermined by some kind of exclusivity agreement.
Uprising packs in four new competitive multiplayer maps: a lava scorched Japanese town named Magma, a deserted music festival named Encore, a multi-tiered highrise called Vertigo, and a Firing Range-style soundstage called Studio.
These are all on top of the somewhat-ballyhooed Mob of the Dead, which stars four prohibition-era mobsters fighting to survive undead swarms through the halls and cells of Alcatraz.
Uprising is available as part of the $50 Black Ops 2 Season Pass, or for $15 on its own.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
