Brian Lara puts Pressure on PSP

Friday 27 July 2007
PSP is getting an exclusive Brian Lara game this summer - and we've got the first trailer of the game in action for you to enjoy. The game will feature a fully licensed ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 mode, but Codemasters has also included a 'Pressure Play mission mode' which cuts the game into bitesize chunks more suited to handheld play.

Among these challenges will be 'bowl an over with no extras' and 'hit six successive sixes within five overs'. Not too difficult then...

There'll be Hawk-Eye ball analysis in-game, which looks ace in the trailer, and we're also told WiFi multiplayer will feature, which we assume is two-player only. We'll find out soon enough - a release date hasn't been pinned down, but the game looks pretty imminent to us. Enjoy the video, but be warned: the music repeats in an annoyingly catchy fashion.
