The studio and producer behind Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (and Lords of Shadow 2, but I'm gonna try not to hold that against them) have revealed their next project: Raiders of the Broken Planet. It's coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year.
Unfortunately, there's no trailer or much gameplay information to soak up, but at least we have the basic premise: the titular planet is home to an ability-enhancing substance called Aleph, and every villainous scumbag in the galaxy wants their hands on it. In a press release, MercrurySteam calls the game a "Multiplayer Online Asymmetric Adventure," uh… whatever that means.
"Fight the invaders teaming up with other Raiders, or turn the tables and storm into battle with those invaders fighting at your side," the release states. Sounds vaguely MOBA plus Borderlands to me, but the studio also mentions a story that will be delivered episodically. If the concept intrigues you, you can sign up for beta testing on the official site.
