The guide is now complete. Every gag and every coin is
now listed.

There are a few things I want to confirm and I will need
to delete all of my saved data to do so. So, it may be a
week or two before I can submit the final version with the
confirmed information.

Just so you can know, the things I want to confirm are:

 - If you need to trace ten _different_ objects for the
Color-Coded Daffy Gag or just a total of ten objects.

 - Granny's sparkle. I know it is on the recycle bin, but
I wasn't near my computer to record the context in
   which the sparkle appears.

 - I believe there are two ways to unlock the Recording
Gag. (See Gag 17 for more info).

 - CPFace says the method to unlock the two bonus reels
is to "fiddle around with the "Recording Gag." I do
not doubt him at all, but for accuracy's sake, I need
   to confirm it.

Please do not contact me to confirm any of the above
information for me. I know you are trying to help and
you may be 100% right, but it is something I will need to
do own my own because even if you were to inform me of
something, I would have to check it out anyway before I
could add it to the guide.

Any other additional information or corrections are
welcome. You will receive full credit for any contribution
you make. See the contact information at the bottom of the
guide to reach me.

I - INTRODUCTION

__________________________________________________________

Looney Tunes Duck Amuck is based on the classic 1953 Chuck
Jones animated short where in the unseen animator
basically gives Daffy all kinds of hell. At the end of
the short, the animator is revealed to be none other than
the mischievous Bugs Bunny, that waskally wabbit!

The premise of the game is to act as the animator and just
like in the classic short, give Daffy hell! Through a
series of mini-games, all in Looney Tune fashion, you
compete with Daffy or at times, just interfere with his
plans. If you are successful, he becomes angry. Your
goal is to throw him into a complete fit of fury.

After each minigame (Gag) a thermometer (Rage-o-meter) will
appear to gauge just how pissed Daffy became after you
defeated him. Fill the gauge up to make Daffy go into a
rage.

To get to that point though you first have to play through
one of the Gags. To begin a Gag, you must jack with Daffy
while he is in Idle Mode.

Idle mode -

When the back ground is completely white and Daffy is just
standing there, you are in Idle Mode. Use your stylus to
touch Daffy or the background. If you wait a few seconds,
other things will randomly appear in the background. You

can interact with these things to find new Gags!

__________________________________________________________

II - CONTROLS

__________________________________________________________

The controls are all done on the touch screen. The buttons
are used in this game, but only as part of the Gags, and
that is only occasionally. See each Gag's rules for
specifics on what to do with the stylus or buttons.

A - The Menu

To access the game's menu, pick Daffy up and toss him
off the left side of the screen. To do this, place
your stylus on Daffy and without lifting it from the
touch screen, make a sweeping motion to the left side
of the screen to throw Daffy and make the menu appear.

The Menu is divided between four screens, use the
icons at the bottom of the touch screen to switch
    between the menu screen options.

1 - Gags - (Mini-games)

The default menu screen is the Gags screen. Here all
of the Gags are listed. If a lock appears over the
selection, you must find out how to access that Gag
while Daffy is in Idle Mode, or just use this guide to
find out how to unlock it.

As you play the minigames, you may see a yellow or
grey star or an image of Daffy's head on the far right
    of a Gag selection.

Grey Star - You have played through and completed the
Gag, as opposed to beginning a Gag but not winning
    against Daffy.

Yellow Star - You have played through and complete the
    Gag on the advanced difficulty.

Daffy's Head - You have played through and completed
    both easy and advanced difficulties.

See the Gags section of this guide for more
information about the Gags selection screen.

2 - Star - (Bonuses)

There are four bonuses to choose from, but two of them
    must be unlocked!

    - The Looney Tunes Character Painter -

As a kid, did you enjoy coloring books? Here you can
color the different characters using the color tabs at
the top of the screen. The R and L shoulder buttons
allow you to scroll to the different characters you've
unlocked. Also, just to the sides of the paint taps
are arrows which allow you to choose 9 other pages of
    color tabs.

    - Looney Tunes Soundboard -

Choosing this options allows you to listen to most of
the sound bites used by Daffy in this game, but wait!
    There's more!

If you choose "Construct!" you can make Daffy say
complete sentences by combining sound bites from
    three smaller soundboards.

And if you choose "Create!" then you can have Daffy
repeat whatever you say into the microphone!

    - Reel 1 -

Reel 1 is a 3D animation of Daffy in the recording
studio doing a bit of voice work for the game. I
do not yet know how I unlocked it, but I will find out
    and detail that information here.

    - Reel 2 -

Reel 2 is a "Making of" of the Gag "Use Your Noodle
Soup," with a voice over narrating. And as with Reel
1, this got unlocked without me realizing how, but I
will find out and when I do, I will detail that
    information here.

CPFace, a GameFAQs board member posted this concerning
    the two bonus reels -

"And there's two "bonus reels" that you can unlock by
fiddling with the "Recording Gag", found on the menu."

I haven't yet confirmed if this is true, but I will.
I mostly wanted to make sure CPFace got the credit he
deserves if it turns out to be true.

3 - Wrench - (Options)

On this screen, you have two options; you can either
view the game's credits or you can reset all game save
data. Be careful, choosing to reset all the game's
data will do just that, everything you have unlocked
    you will lose.

4 - Coin - (Character Coins)

This page displays all of your character coins. You
should already have Daffy's coin by default. See the
Character Coin section for more information.

B - Multiplayer

From the Idle Mode screen, pick Daffy up and toss him
off the right side of the screen to access the
    multiplayer menu.

III - GAGS

__________________________________________________________

The order of Gags listed here is the same as they appear on
the menu screen. The only difference is that in the game
they are not numbered. I did that in this guide so that
you might have an easier time locating a particular Gag.
Also, you cannot see the names of the Gags in the game
until you've unlocked them.

If you want to play a Gag at a harder difficulty, choose
the Gag from the menu in stead of the "Unlock by" method.

Tips are the in-game hints at how to unlock the Gag. Touch
the lower case "i" which is in a circle with a blue
background to see the tip. All tips are listed here word
for word.

"Unlock by" is not an in-game feature. As suggested, this
is where I explain the details in unlocking that specific
Gag.

The Rules of a Gag can be seen once you begin the minigame
by pressing the start button. They basically tell you how
to play each minigame respectively.

Extra info is in fact, extra information concerning the
Gag it is listed for. This always gives additional info
for playing the game; maybe something that the rules
didn't make exactly clear, things you should be aware of,
or things to make the game easier, hell, it's extra info!

If no extra info is given, then I felt like it simply
didn't need it. If I begin to see questions (via email or
on the message boards) I will then go back and add what I
can.

The Character Coin listing first of all tells you if that
Gag has a hidden Character Coin and if so, exactly how to
unlock it.

__________________________________________________________

1 - Body Erase -

TIP - Try tapping the strips of "duck" tape.

UNLOCK BY - When in Idle mode, use the stylus to rip
the background near Daffy's right shoulder. When he
repairs the background with duct tape, touch the tape.

RULES - Swipe quickly over Daffy to make him run.

Avoid obstacles: swipe upward to make him jump, swipe
downward to make him duck. Blow to get rid of gnat
     swarms.

EXTRA INFO - An arrow will appear to prompt you to
     take the appropriate action.

CHARACTER COIN - After Daffy receives the trophy, a
sparkle appears on the trophy, touch it to unlock
     the coin for Cecil Turtle.

__________________________________________________________

2 - Chat Spat -

TIP - Be ready for this challenge when you least
    expect it.

UNLOCK BY - Remain in Idle mode until the Gag begins.

RULES - Follow the on-screen directions to create chat
    windows.

Try to knock Daffy into the top of the screen!

EXTRA INFO - Just type what you are prompted to. Be
sure to include any punctuation and to get the correct
    spelling.

CHARACTER COIN - After you beat Daffy, he will fall to
the bottom screen, at this time, look at the top and
center of the bottom screen to see the sparkle. Touch
    it to unlock Witch Hazel.

__________________________________________________________

3 - Color-Coded Daffy

TIP - Unlock this game by dropping all the objects on
Daffy's head in the object trace challenge!

UNLOCK BY - There are ten items that appear at random
as a dotted outline over Daffy's head while he is in
Idle Mode. Quickly trace the item to make it appear
in its full form, it will then drop on Daffy's head.
You will know an item is about to appear when you see
    Daffy shrink in size.

If you find that you cannot keep a solid line when
tracing the outline, try pressing harder.

Traceable objects I have seen are -

    Anvil, Bull, I-beam, Piano,
    Cannon, Car, Safe,

Note - I do not believe that you have to trace ten
different objects, just trace ten as they show up. I
traced a total of three cars and two pianos plus the
other objects mentioned and the Gag was unlocked. I
will confirm this for a later update.

RULES - Tap and drag the color-coded Daffys into the
correct boxes before the timer runs out!

EXTRA INFO - Watch the boxes after you put a Daffy
into one. You will see Daffy's eyes, a few seconds
later and you will see more of his body. When you do
tap the Daffy in the box or he will jump out!

__________________________________________________________

4 - Daffy Divided -

TIP - Give Daffy a surprise by slicing him in half!

UNLOCK BY - Slice across Daffy's stomach in Idle Mode.

RULES - Swipe to slice Daffy in two! Keep slicing
    until there's nothing left!

Fling bombs onto the top screen to knock Daffy back
    onto the touch screen.

__________________________________________________________

5 - Deal the Cards -

TIP - Try dropping globs of pain on Daffy's head.

UNLOCK BY - When in Idle Mode, keep tapping on
Daffy's face until he's had enough. He will walk off
the screen and return with three cans of paint. Touch
the red paint, then drag the drop over Daffy's
head and lift the stylus to release it.

RULES - Deal the cards to the correct players before
    the timer runs out!

Watch out for the poker chips!

EXTRA INFO - Notice the color shaded areas on the
bottom screen? You don't have to have a perfect aim
at each player, just toss the card into the correct
    shaded area.

CHARACTER COIN - After the background comes into view,
when Daffy says "Reach for the sky," watch for the
sparkle in the background on the bushes. Tap it to unlock
    Yosemite Sam.

__________________________________________________________

6 - Diamond Mine, Mine

TIP - Pick Daffy's best idea by tapping a lightbulb.

UNLOCK BY - Allow Daffy to remain in idle mode until
light bulbs begin to appear over his head. Touch the
middle bulb to begin the Gag.

RULES - Tap and drag the gem to the cave exit before
    Daffy can grab it!

Drag the fake gem to Daffy to distract him!

EXTRA INFO - Don't let Daffy touch the gem! If there
are rocks blocking the path, set the gem down and tap
the rocks to break them and open the path. Be quick
    because Daffy is coming!

CHARACTER COIN - After you clear the game, Daffy is in
front of a TV playing. He tosses the control down in
anger at having lost. Touch the sparkle that appears
on the TV to unlock Elmer Fudd.

__________________________________________________________

7 - Dimswitch Daffy

TIP - Use the brightness slider to leave Daffy in the
    dark.

UNLOCK BY - When in Idle Mode, when 7 lightbulbs appear
side by side above Daffy's head, move the slide bar
all the way to the right to make all of the lights
    come on.

RULES - Blow to extinguish Daffy's candle before he
can reach the oil lamp. Don't blow when he has TNT!

Blow slightly to slow him down.

EXTRA INFO - Using your stylus, touch the match and
swipe it across the matchbox. The movement must be
fast. Once the candle is lit, move the match on to
    Daffy.

Once you strike the match, the game begins. Daffy
will run up the stairs with either a candle or with
TNT. If he makes it to the top, he will light the
lamp. Your goal is to stop him.

When he is running with a candle, blow hard into the
    microphone to extinguish the candle.

When he is running with TNT, blow very lightly to
slow him down. Watch for falling drops of water. Time
your blowing to make Daffy dodge the drop so that he
can make it to the top with the TNT.

CHARACTER COIN - As the lights go out, watch by the
eyes to see the sparkle, touch it to unlock the
    Road Runner.

__________________________________________________________

8 - Dodge and Splat Daffy

TIP - Unlock this game by finding all of the Character
    Coins.

UNLOCK BY - As the Tip says, find all of the Character
coins to unlock this Gag. See the Character Coin
section of this guide to learn how to get every coin.

RULES - Use the slingshot to hurl fruit at Daffy!

Smack him as many times as possible before the timer
    runs out!

EXTRA INFO - Behind Ddaffy is a light set. Evertime
you hit Daffy with fruit, one of the lights goes off.
Your goal is to make all of the lights go off before
the timer runs out. Meanwhile, Daffy is attempting to
    dodge your shots!

After firing at Daffy, pull back on the slingshot to
ready your next piece of fruit. Try to hit him before
he recovers from your last shot. In the harder stages
aim for where you think he is going to be, not where
    he is.

__________________________________________________________

9 - Cross Country Kapooow!

TIP- Try tapping the strips of "duck" tape.

UNLOCK BY - When in Idle Mode, rip the background on
the lower left of the screen. When Daffy repairs the

    before time runs out!

to appear on Daffy, touch it to unlock Playboy Penguin.

10 - Duck And Cover

TIP - Try tapping any conspicuous objects when they
     appear.

UNLOCK BY - Remain in Idle Mode until you see a fuel
can appear to Daffy's left. Touch the can to begin
     the Gag.

RULES - Strike the match and light the fuel trail.

Carefully drag the flame along the path without
     straying too far!

EXTRA INFO - Fire will consume the fuel trail, so
guide the flame up the trail towards Daffy. Don't go
too fast, but don't let the end of the fuel trail
     catch up with you.

Watch out for cars passing over your flame and
     putting it out.

CHARACTER COIN - After you win, Daffy will jump out
of a tire, when he does, the sparkle appears on the
tire, tap it to unlock Sylvester.

11 - Duck Dodgers

TIP - Try dropping globs of paint onto Daffy's head.

UNLOCK BY - When in Idle Mode, keep tapping on
Daffy's face until he's had enough. He will walk off
the screen and return with three cans of paint. Touch
the blue paint, then drag the drop over Daffy's head
and lift the stylus to release it.

RULES - Crank the generator to keep the electricity
flowing. Complete the circuit by defining a path for
the electricity. Throw the switch to transport Daffy
     before he can zap Marvin!

EXTRA INFO - Touch the green arrows so that the
electricity can flow from the bottom left corner to
the lever in the upper right corner. Once the energy
reaches the lever, tap and drag it down to transport
     Daffy.

If one of Marvin's aliens obstruct the flow of
electricity, tap it to remove it. Also, keep in mind
that you are not required to use all of the arrows.

Tapping the red exclamation mark will spin all of the
     arrows.

Character Coin - After you win, a yellow robot will
float to the left of the screen, when it reaches the
middle, it will pause long enough to dump out a
zapped Daffy. During the dump, touch the sparkle to
     unlock Marvin the Martian.

12 - Exploding Piano

TIP - Try using globs of paint to effect the
     background.

the screen and return with three cans of paint. Touch
the blue paint, then drag the drop it to the left of
Daffy's right side (the left side of the screen).

RULES - Play the correct song note on the beat as it
reaches the music timing box. Watch out for the keys
     rigged with TNT!

rigged with TNT, simply press another key.

the screen and return with three cans of paint. Touch
the yellow paint, then drag the drop it to the left
of Daffy's right side (the left side of the screen).

RULES - Tap and drag gun powder to the cannon from
the keg. Then rotate the crank to take aim.

Try to launch Daffy into the keg before the fuse
     burns down!

EXTRA INFO - The keg you are trying for can be seen
on the top screen. Rotate the crank counter clock-
wise to raise the cannon, clock-wise to lower it.

You want to get the right amount of gun powder in
combination with the correct angle so that Daffy will
hit the keg. When possible, use the ring of fire to
help you get your shot lined up right.

CHARACTER COIN - After you win, watch on the cannon's

     Martian!

EXTRA INFO - Use the stylus to rotate the tunnel.
Bombs will appear on the tunnel, line them up with
Daffy in order to make him get hit by them.

runs through an arrow, he will speed up and get
     further away from Marvin Martian.

     as quickly as possible!

EXTRA INFO - After drawing him a new bill, Daffy will

as small trampolines. Angle the lines appropriately
     to take aim at Daffy.

CHARACTER COIN - After you win, Daffy's stylus falls
and sticks in the ground. At this time, a sparkle

RULES - Blow to keep Robin Hood Daffy in the air.

Avoid obstacles and get him to the end of the level.
     Aim for the Sheriff!

EXTRA INFO - Avoid the obstacles, but keep an eye on

Daffy's face until he's had enough. He will walk off
the screen and return with three cans of paint. Touch

21 - The Bleeding Black

TIP - Be ready for this challenge when you least
     expect it!

UNLOCK BY - Remain in Idle Mode. This Gag begins
when black begins to droop down from the top screen
     to the bottom.

RULES - Roll the wooden stick over to Daffy and then
tap to break it so that the blackness falls on
Daffy's head! Tap the bottle of headache pills to
     make them go away!

EXTRA INFO - Timing is the key to winning this game.
Don't break the stick until the opportune moment.
Also, the bamboo sticks cannot hold the weight that
the wooden stick can, so wait until the right moment
to break the wooden stick. You will want to move the
sticks around so that Daffy will be near the last one
     that breaks.

To move a bamboo stick, move the wooden stick right
next to it so that none of the black appears between
the sticks, this will allow you to move the bamboo
stick over a short way. Put the bamboo next to Daffy
before you break the wooden stick.

It takes three taps to break a wooden stick. Once you
move a stick into position, tap it twice. This will
allow you to have the sticks ready when the time is
     right.

When moving a wooden stick, do not immediately touch
it, you risk the chance of the game registering the
touch as a tap to break it. If you want to move a
wooden stick, touch the screen to the side of the
stick and begin moving it in the direction you want
     to go.

CHARACTER COIN - After you win, Daffy will throw a
fit, thenthe screen will go completely black. The
words "GAME OVER" will appear on the screen, watch
the letter "R" for the sparkle. Touch it to unlock
     Henery Hawk

IV - CHARACTER COINS

__________________________________________________________

Character Coins are coins that are revealed after you
touch a sparkle effect in either the intro or outro of a
Gag or when in Idle Mode. After touching a sparkle, the
coin can be viewed on the Character Coin Scoreboard from
the Menu screen.

This section will reveal every character coin in the game,
each character's description as given in the game, which
Gag or Idle Mode animation to find it in, and specifics on
finding the sparkles.

Looking at your DS screen, I numbered the coins from left
to right, beginning with the top row.

01 - Daffy Duck - Unlocked by default.

In the 1953 cartoon, "Duck Amuck," Daffy is tormented
by an unseen animator whose paintbrush revises the
     setting, soundtrack, even Daffy himself!

02 - Michigan J. Frog - Gag 20 - Song And Dance Daffy

Although he originally had no name in the 1955
animated cartoon "One Froggy Evening," he eventually
became known as "Michigan J. Frog" and later became
the official mascot of the WB Television Network.

UNLOCK BY - After dropping the glob of paint,
a sparkle will appear at the top and center of the
touch screen as the background comes into view.

03 - Elmer Fudd - Gag 6 - Diamond Mine, Mine

His speech impediment is so well-known that Internet
search engine Google allows users to change the
active language to "Elmer Fudd" in the options.

UNLOCK BY - After you clear the game, Daffy is in
front of a TV playing. He tosses the control down in
anger at having lost. The sparkle appears on the TV.

04 - Gossamer - Gag 14 - Low Poly Daffy

He was originally referred to simply as "monster,"

UNLOCK BY - As the game begins, watch on the capsule
     for the sparkle.

Sylvester J. Pussycat, Sr. is a three-time Academy

simply Mel Blanc's normal voice with the added lisp.

UNLOCK BY - After you win, Daffy will jump out of a
tire, when he does, the sparkle appears on the tire.

characters poked fun at their political incorrect

UNLOCK BY - Once the gag is over and when Daffy says,
"Ta-da!" a sparkle will appear on him.

09 - Wile E. Coyote - Gag 13 - Load the Cannon

Chuck Jones' coyote creation has had many
"scientific" names over the years, including
     "Carnivorous Vulgaeris," "Eatibus Anythingus," and
     "Eternalii Famishiis."

UNLOCK BY - After you win, watch on the cannon's

when Daffy says "Reach for the sky," watch for the
sparkle in the background on the bushes.

13 - Cecil Turtle - Gag 1 - Body Erase

very few characters who could consistently beat WB
     star, Bugs Bunny.

     sparkle appears on the trophy.

14 - Playboy Penguin - Gag 9 - Cross Country Kapooow!

     recycle bin.

18 - Pepe Le Pew - Gag 23 - Close the DS

This suave skunk's personality may have been
partially based on Warner Brothers' most prolific
writer, Tedd Pierce who was a self proclaimed "Ladies
     Man."

UNLOCK BY - When the wooden Acme box drops from the
sky, watch for the sparkle effect.

19 - Hector the Bulldog - Gag 23 - Close the DS

name recognition in the Sylvester and Tweety Mystery

interminable cute kitten, Pussyfoot. Their first

UNLOCK BY - Stay in Idle Mode until you see Daffy
walk off the right side of the bottom screen and
appear on the left side of the top screen. After the
top-screen Daffy drops to the bottom screen, watch
     for the sparkle.

25 - Tasmanian Devil - Random Idle Mode Animation

Although "Taz" originally only appeared in five
animated cartoons, his popularity continued to grow
in the '70's and '80's and eventually he got his own
     episodic TV show, "Tazmania."

UNLOCK BY - A sound meter will appear when Daffy
mentions that the DS has a microphone that you can
blow into, watch the top of the meter for the sparkle.

VI - CREDITS, THANKS, & HOSTS

__________________________________________________________

Any fool can write a guide, but what really gives a guide
its credibility is how useful and resourceful it is. This
is rarely accomplished by anyone on their own but in stead
by those willing enough to speak up and offer suggestions,
corrections, additional information, spelling corrections,
constructive criticism, insults, and occasionally, death
threats followed up by necrophiliac acts.

Taking all of that into consideration, this is the part of
the guide where I take a moment to say thanks and give
credit to those who may have contributed in any of the
manners listed above, especially the last one.

CJayC -

 - Without you none of this would exist in its current
   form.

litheum99 (Nathan) -

 - You may or may not be Nathan Whitman, but the
information you posted on the boards all checks out.
Thank you very much. And good job with the game, I've
really enjoyed it. In retrospect, the short Duck Amuck
was such an obvious DS game, yet who but a hardcore WB
fan would have thought about it? I applaud you & your
   team.

CPFace -

 - Thank you for figuring out how to unlock the bonus
reels. You saved me a ton of work since I was going to
have to reset my game data just to find out how and
hope I didn't miss it again in the process. Also, I have
noticed you being the main voice of help on the message
boards. You Sir, are Batman; hiding in the shadows and
   doing good.

SBBGAMEMASTER -

 - Thanks for the confirmation about the correct way to
unlock "Chat Spat." And even though I already had the
other information you had provided, I still thank you
for the effort anyway. It truly is appreciated.
