Hello there, and welcome to my very first FAQ.
I'm GameFAQ user Enaikei and I've been a Tenchu fan since the very beginning.

Back when the Wii was announced to make use of motion controls, Tenchu was one
of two games I started to hope would really make it to the Wii and now that
Tenchu has arrived, there's only the other left, but let's leave that for now.

Since getting my copy, and spending the majority of my time playing this great
game, I became shocked to find that there are absolutely no FAQs for this game
yet.
So I have decided to spend some time writing about the Assignment missions, a
part of the game I found a great deal of fun with.

What are Assignments?.....................................................[002]

Assignments are special missions, in which you learn everything from basic
tactics to advanced strategies.
There are 50 Assignments to unlock and these become available depending on your
progress in Story Mode.
The better you rank at story missions, the more assignments become unlocked, so
make sure you S-rank them all.

Most of the assignments involves killing all enemies using various means of
stealth, but some require just a specific target or by reaching a goal.

The purpose of this guide is not only to help completing the missions, but
also to S-rank them.
I will be providing my own successfully tested strategies in this guide.

Like the story missions there are three categories to consider:
Time - How long you spent on the mission.
Discovered - How many times you were seen by the enemy.
Hissatsu - How many stealth kills you made.

NOTE: In "reach the goal" assignments, Hissatsu can be S-ranked by not killing
anybody (I'm not sure if you can't be seen either) and simply proceede to the
end goal. This will earn you the S-rank "Phantom" on Hissatsu.
However, since the majority of missions require you to assassinate at least
one person, you won't be seeing the Phantom rank much.

By beating 10 Assignment missions, you unlock Concept Art Gallery where you
can browse through various art sketches of the game.

By beating 20 Assignment missions, you unlock Sound and Music.
Let those tunes forever play. 

By beating 30 Assignment missions, you unlock Ancient Hissatsu Techniques,
which is basically a new Hissatsu, one for each, for Rikimaru and Ayame.
The new Hissatsu seems to trigger when flicking the Wii Remote upwards while
approaching and initiating a Hissatsu from behind, but since I often fail
from performing it regularly, I'm not 100 percent sure.

By beating 40 Assignment missions, you unlock Memories.
This will allow you to view all cutscenes at will.

By beating all 50 Assignment missions, you are awarded with Colored Rice.
This item, if brought with you on a Story mission, puts your ninja under
constant Mind's Eye, so can see your opponents better and in what direction
they're looking. Makes things easier.

If you're looking for a specific Assignment, press Ctrl + F and type A01 where
the numbers (01-50) indicate the assignment.

I'll be listing the aspects of each mission the following way:

Win: What you must do to clear the stage.
Lose: What must happen for you to lose the mission completely.
Time: How long you will have to finish the map.

S-Rank qualifications:
Time: How fast you must be to attain an S-rank in time.
Discovered: All missions require perfect stealth for an S-rank.
Hissatsu: How many stealth kills you made/Number of stealth kills required.

Difficulty: My personal difficulty setting for the mission: 1=easy and 5=hard.

Strategy:
What you'll need to do in order to complete the mission with an S-rank.

Assignment 01 - Basics: Shadows [A01]

Strategy:
Simply walk along the left wall in the shadow until you can start a Hissatsu.
The 10 seconds may prove to be a minor nuisance, but nothing too complicated.

Assignment 02 - Basics: Hayate [A02]

Strategy:
Walk into the bush straight ahead and from here flick the Wii Remote left so
you perform a Hayate into the next bush in the row. If done correctly in quick
succession, you'll get a chance to perform a Hissatsu when entering the third
bush.

Assignment 03 - Basics: Dousing Lights [A03]

Strategy:
Pick up the Bamboo Tube in front of you and close in on the torch.
Ready the item, aim at the torch and flick the Wii remote forward to
extinguish the flame.
Now walk along the left wall until you can perform a Hissatsu on the Ronin.

Assignment 04 - Basics: Carrying Objects [A04]

Strategy:
Pick up one of the boxes in front of you and turn slightly left until you see a
part of the wall that looks like a set of doors. Place the box there and step
on it. Now either jump, or press A if prompted, to grab a hold of the lower
part of the wall and get up on it. From here turn right and jump up on the
higher part of the wall and run along it all the way, past the guards and jump
down and enter the goal.

Assignment 05 - Basics: Pushing Objects [A05]

Strategy:
Walk up to the crate and start pushing it to the right, all the way.
Jump up on top of it, and press A when prompted, get up and run along the
passage until you can drop down through a hole. Approach the sleeping guard
and make his sleep permanent.

Assignment 06 - Basics: Rafters [A06]

Strategy:
Take a step forward and you'll be promted to press A. Do so to grab on a rafter
and pull yourself up. Now locate the three guards and assassinate them from
above. One is sitting in the large room, right where the first story boss is,
while the other two occupy the two hallways around the room.
NOTE: It's easier and saves time to jump between the rafters by flicking the
Wii remote when promted.

Assignment 07 - Basics: Corner Perch [A07]

Strategy:
This assignment gets a higher difficulty because it includes the Armored
Samurai, an enemy I can guarantee you will learn to hate.
Know that these guys have ultra senses, and can easily detect you no matter how
you try to move. As such, be sure to give him some distance before moving.
Upon start, immediately press C to perform a Corner Perch.
Now wait until the samurai makes a check around your starting area AND the next
one (you see how he stops and look) and when he's about to walk outside your
field of vision, press B to drop down. Now walk slowly, so to allow some
distance between yourself and him, towards the next area and perform another
Corner Perch on the right side. Now wait until the samurai walks back towards
the point you started in, press B, make the left corner and run towards the
goal.

Assignment 08 - Basics: Hissatsu [A08]

Strategy:
Walk up to the first guard and assassinate him. Now jump on top of the crates
and make a jumping Hissatsu towards the second guard. Run up to the gates and
press A to walk against it until you can look around the corner and you'll be
promted to perform the third Hissatsu. Run towards the fourth guard and kill
him too. Now follow the left wall until you can multi-kill the two last guards
and make a clear run to the goal.

Assignment 09 - Basics: Shuriken Kills [A09]

Time: 1 minute 10 seconds.

Hissatsu: 5/5.

Difficulty: 1/5

Strategy:
Look slightly to the right and ready a shuriken. You'll see the first guard
standing on a rock in the pond. Throw a shuriken and watch his funny demise.
Now turn back left and walk to the first lantern and ready another shuriken.
Straight ahead, at the end of the path you're looking down at, the second
guard stands ready to fall, so throw a shuriken his way. Now run down where
he stood, turn right and you'll see the third guard sleeping on the job at the
end of the right path. Either throw a shuriken or approach him for a Hissatsu.
Now, run all the way back to where the first lanterns are, turn left and cross
the bridge. Just as you're at the end of the bridge, you should spot a fire
a bit ahead towards your right. Ready a shuriken and aim towards it and you
should lock-on at the fourth guard. Toast him. Now strife left so you can look
inside the building and you'll spot the final guard. Aim at the small peculiar
box at his right side to finish this assignment.

Assignment 10 - Basics: Swordplay [A10]

Time: 0 minutes. (this mission clocks time rather than counting down)

S-Rank qualifications:
Time: 25 seconds.
Discovered: 0 times.
Hissatsu: 1/1.

Difficulty: 1/5

Strategy:
Your first duel is at hand.
Try to get the initiative by swinging the Wii remote at the right moment in the
beginning when you see the Wii-remote icon (just as he swing his sword at you).
While on the offense, pay attention to the arrows that come in from all
possible eight directions, and swing your Wii remote according to those to rack
up combos. When promted, press A for the final hit, or keep swinging until he
dies.
While in defense, you must line the Wii remote according to the on-screen image
shows. This is usually by holding it with the pointer straight up or to the
left though other positions like angle the pointer up-left and up-right can
also occur.
NOTE: This battle can be done in 5 seconds and without even starting the duel.
At the beginning, you may run towards the guard as he's starting to panic by
your presence and if you're fast enough, you can press A to perform a Hissatsu
on him before even starting to duel.

Assignment 11 - The Azuma Oni-hayate [A11]

Difficulty: 2/5

Strategy:
Another increase in difficulty because yet another Armored Samurai makes
an appearance.
The purpose of this challenge is basically the same as Assignment 2.
Your goal is to assassinate the guards via Hayate based Hissatsu's, but
since the first two guards are normal henchmen looking the other way, you
can dispose of them with any Hissatsu of your choice. However the third
target is the samurai, and remember, these guys can see the invisible.
The only way to kill him is through Hayate movement via the thickets
in the center part of the area. After killing guard 2, flick your Wii remote
to the right and then in downward motion so Rikimaru moves forward, then right
one last time and you'll be promted to assassinate the samurai.

Assignment 12 - The Devil Above [A12]

Strategy:
Immediately start running straight ahead then make a fast left turn at the end
to run down the final stretch. The two guards down there and one will start to
panic from your appearance but keep running towards him to perform a
multi-kill on both guards.

Assignment 13 - The Cat Sees All [A13]

Strategy:
I just love the music here.
This one is a little tight on the time regarding S-rank, but since an A in time
will still net you an overall S-ranking, it is of little concern.
This stage will consist of concealed ninjas, so you need long-range weaponry to
take 'em out. Start by using the Shinobi Cat (poor kitty being used as a tool)
and start walking straight ahead, across the bridge and towards the gate on the
other side. When getting close, you'll notice a shuriken on the ground, pick it
up with A and walk all the way back to Rikimaru and drop it in front of him.
Press B to resume control of Rikimaru and pick up the newly delivered weapon.
Ready the shuriken and aim towards the right thickets around the torch on the
right side up ahead and you'll notice the usual Hissatsu effect on screen,
throw and take out the first ninja. 
Ready another shuriken and aim towards your left side this time (you should
even see the concealed ninja's upper torso sticking out of the thicket) and
make short work of him too.
Now start running towards the other side of the bridge but stop just before
reaching the end and ready another shuriken. Now aim at closest, right thicket
to kill your third opponent. Now aim for the distant thicket to the left of the
right torch up ahead to lock-on at your fourth victim. Now aim at the faraway
left thicket to claim your fifth ninja. Now enter the first thicket to the
right where you nailed the third ninja, and proceed to the next thicket close
to it and turn left. Between the shack and the watchtower hides the final foe.

Assignment 14 - A Cupful of Calamity [A14]

Strategy:
Take the bottle of poison in front of you and enter the building. Pretty much
immediately you'll see a jar in front of you, press A to drip in the poison and
return outside to where you started. Now simply wait.
You can use the cat to look inside if you feel like it, but it's not necessary.

Assignment 15 - Ninja Night Fishing [A15]

Strategy:
Walk forward and face down the alley to the right and you'll see a samurai down
there. In front of him on the ground lies the key you want, so ready the 
fishing rod and aim at the key, swing and reel it in.
Now turn right and head back to unlock the shed door, clearing this stage.

Assignment 16 - Ninja in a Jar [A16]

Difficulty: 1/5

Strategy:
The purpose of this mission is to understand how to hide in big jars and
surprise the enemy, however if you want to S-rank the time, you need to avoid
the jars altogether.
Start by walking, when passing the first jar you'll notice the guard up ahead
starting to move, as to turn around. Take a few more steps, then run towards
him and kill him.
Now turn towards the next hallway to see the second guard, you can start moving
towards him but wait until you see him turn towards the side, than dash up to
him like you did against the first guard.

Assignment 17 - The Devil Underfoot [A17]

Straight ahead you'll notice a piece of the floor is of a different color.
Approach it and you'll be promted to press A to hide under it. Now simply wait
for the three guards to walk over their doom.

Assignment 18 - Successive Kills [A18]

Strategy:
Run ahead and slighty to your left, you'll see a thicket. Walk into it and
press A to begin crawling. Keep crawling as far as you can then turn right
to stand up again. Follow the wall ahead to the right and you'll come across
the first three guards. Press A to multi-kill them. Now make a 180 degree turn
and run into house up ahead. Inside to the left, is where the two final guards
are waiting to be multi-killed.

Assignment 19 - Stop the Rebellion [A19]

Strategy:
All four guards are easily killed with shuriken.
When at the other side of the bridge, enter the first right thicket and Hayate
to the right until you're prompted to perform Rikimaru's slickest Hissatsu.

Assignment 20 - Tooth and Nail [A20]

Time: 1 minute 10 seconds.
Discovered: 0 times.
Hissatsu: 3/3.

Difficulty: 3/5

Strategy:
This is just like Assignment 10, only you have three opponents to finish off
now, and you're playing as Ayame. The time is rather hard to accomplish so
everything must go smoothly. Inititiating the fight is a big +, if not a must
if you're looking to secure an S-rank in time. You also need to take down all
three guards in one attack-sequence each if you want to be really sure of an
S-rank. This means great combos to quickly dispatch of them.
NOTE: If you want an easier time, pause the game just as the opponent attacks 
so can see how you're supposed to tilt/angle your Wii remote, adjust it and
resume the fighting.

Assignment 21 - Cut from the Same Cloth [A21]

Time: 1 minute 50 seconds.
Discovered: 0 times.

Difficulty: 2/5

Strategy:
I suggest playing as Ayame, since she's nimbler.
Like assignment 14, pick up the bottle of poison, go inside the building and 
apply the poison in the water jar just inside. Now hurry back outside as the
servant girl is approaching. Let her take some water and let her move ahead a
bit. You'll see another servant girl exiting another room towards the left part
of the house.
When you do make haste to this room, kill the merchant there and jump up on the
small drawer standing at the wall he was facing, and press A to grab on the
rafter and pull yourself up.
About now you'll see merchant 2 die from the poison.
Quickly make your way to the third and final merchant straight ahead and kill
him from above.

Assignment 22 - The Devil Unseen [A22]

Hissatsu: 4/4.

Difficulty: 1/5

Strategy:
Turn just a bit right then strife a little to your left, just past the column,
and throw your Ghostmaker at the armored samurai in the distance, taking out
the whole gang.
NOTE: You need to adjust yourself fast, otherwise you'll miss the walking
guard. If you have trouble with this, you can wait for the patrolling guard to
come close to the shadow along the wall (close to the big door) and dash-kill
him before throwing the Ghostmaker.

Assignment 23 - The Shooting Ground [A23]

Difficulty: 2/5

Strategy:
Pick up the Smoke Bomb and position yourself in the doorway (facing towards the
left side) and you'll see a marksman looking your way. Teach him that smoking is
bad for the health. While he and his right-hand companion are coughing their
lungs out, run PAST the first marksman on his left side, slightly tilting left
yourself, and you'll run up to the third marksman. He'll spot you, but if you
keep running towards him, you'll be able to assassinate him.
Now turn around and multi-kill the still coughing duo.

Assignment 24 - tooth and Nail II [A24]

Strategy:
How to S-rank time on this stage is beyond me, but my way still awards me with 
an A-rank and that is sufficent for an overall S-rank.
Start by immediately pull out, and use, your Ninja Veil item. Allow the first
and second guard to pass you by. By the time the first guard passes in front of
you again (this time accompanied by the third guard) press B to put away your
item and press A to multi-kill guard 1 and 3. Now quickly run towards the door
ahead that you saw guard 2 enter, stop a short way from it around the middle of
the hallway and again pull out your item and use it. When he passes in front of
you, just like guard 1 did, press B to put away the item and quickly press A
to put him to sleep.

Assignment 25 - Operation Meowww [A25]

Strategy:
Run ahead and pick up the cat item and use it. Have the cat retrieve the needed
key via a small hole directly to the right of where you use him. Return the key
to Rikimaru and resume control of him. Use the key on the door and run ahead to
get a second cat item. Use this on sight and walk the left path. Now you'll see
the one and only bad guy. When you reach him, turn right and you'll spot both
a Ghostmaker and the exit. Return to Rikimaru with the Ghostmaker, resume ninja
control and throw the Ghostmaker at the guard ahead. Now run towards the exit.

Assignment 26 - The Shida Six [A26]

Strategy:
Another concealed ninja mission.
Start by throwing a shuriken at the thicket by the left torch.
Run ahead inside the the cave and ready a new shuriken and aim it at the ninja
up on the wall to the upper-left of the torch found inside.
Run to the newly fallen foe and turn right and you'll spot the next enemy on a
rafter ahead. Run past his corpse and turn right and then follow the right

the alerted guard just outside runs away, then follow the route outside to the
right and around the corner you'll spot another explosive keg. Star it to alert
the final guard up ahead and enter the right side room and you should spot the
goal at this room's other exit.

Those to the left and right must move into position before being "reeled in".

ran through and proceed in to the main hallway. If you've been really fast so
far, you can wait a few seconds in the hall before running towards the right
corner and take out the third guard. Now grab a rafter and pull yourself up and
look towards the unsuspected lord and merchant and you'll notice a last ninja on
the rafters. Make short work of him with a shuriken. Now flick the Wii-remote to
jump down along rafters until you're behind the final targets, drop down and
multi-kill them.

stands a bandit so throw a rock at him. Run over where he stood for another
rock. Turn around towards the torch and face the path right and throw the rock
at the thug near torch 4. Pick up the stone he drops and walk to the right of
the torch, standing on a down-sloping path turn right and look low to spot
another bandit. Throw a rock at him too and make a 180 degree turn. Against the
cliff behind a tree you should see a crate. Jump on top of it and press A to
grab on edge above, providing you with a chance for your final kill.

NOTE: If you're really bold, you can start running from the start and make the
left turn at a speed and take out the guards with a multi-kill.
When they're dead enter the room they were guarding and quickly crawl under the
table else the guards up ahead will see you. Now turn left and swing the
Wii-remote to autimatically dive down under the second table.
Crawl out on the other side and turn left to see some boxes. Jump on them and
press A to grab a hold of the edge of a hole in the ceiling and pull yourself
up. Run along the path until you can drop down. Do so and proceed to multi-kill
the three guards. Now turn left and walk into the new room ahead, immediately
turning left upon entrance to spot a crate. Jump on it to reach a second hole
in the ceiling. Follow the path until you can drop down and kill the last guy.

guards and start run towards the middle guard as he's turning around and kill
him. Now a little tricky part, start moving towards the last guard and he'll
start noticing you, keep going for a second until you can Hayate into the
nearby bushes.
Now throw your last kunai at him for attention and he'll come towards you.
Ready the sword you picked up earlier and strike him when he's in range.

opposite part of the building and kill the ninja there from above.
Now go all the way outside and make for the left corner, but remember, there's
a ninja hiding in the bushes just around the corner so star him.
If you've been fast up until now all you have to do is run ahead to the next
set of thickets, turn left and ready a shuriken for the explosive keg there
and throw when the walking ninja is close to it.

Strategy:
The only reason I give this a higher difficulty rating is because S-ranking
time is very precise.
Run straight ahead and pick up the Ninja Veil and make a left turn down the
stairs for another left turn. Walk slowly behind the girl so she doesn't
notice you and use the Ninja Veil around the furthest candle on the left wall.
After she's passed, make a run for the next staircase but don't go all the way
down and stay against the left wall. Let the second girl pass and follow her
further in until you can slip into a right door. You'll see a third girl
walking ahead to the left. Stay behind her until you can walk up a wagon of
some sort on the left. Use the Ninja Veil here to shield you from the girl as
she turns around. Now make it inside the jail door and finish that coward off.

Wait a second or two before charging the guard up ahead.
Pick up the Ghostmaker and throw it at the wall which is seen a bit to the
right of your staring point. Now wait for the two annoying guards to make their
search. Be sure to watch the doorway they're looking through, and when you
can't see their heads flunking about, head over there and peek around the
corner outside for a chance to assassinate the second guard.
Now move ahead until you're forced to go left. You'll have a clear view of the
third guard and you'll know when to run up to and kill him. Proceed all the way
to find a fourth guard on your left, so kill him too.
Now head over the bridge and pass the lantern and walk up to the big doors.
Now turn right and follow the narrow path along the house to surprise the final
guard that's making rounds. Now jump over the railings and head right for your
final target.

Strategy:
Proceed inside the first right door and pick up the kunai. Now head straight to
the locked door ahead and turn left to spot an explosive keg just waiting to
blow up. Wait until the patrolling guard gets close to it and fire away.
Now make your way to the room that is seen behind the burning corpses (watch
out so you don't burn yourself) and pick up the Bamboo Tube there. Take the
key that lies among the newly burned ones and head for the locked door you
were at earlier. Unlock it and step outside.
The two guards ahead will probably still be in alert mode so wait for them to
settle down.
When the patrolling guard makes his way to the right, run up and kill the
standing guard and quickly douse the torch ahead (the very far one seen from
where you unlocked the door) and enter the new shadow area.
The guard will turn around as you move about and when he do, stand still.
When he starts to look forward after each reaction, move a few steps and repeat
until you're close enough for a kill.
Just inside the door you're at is the last guard.
Peek around the corner to make sure his back is turned then kill him.
Inside the building, head to the far left corner to find a staircase.
Walk up and enter the furthermost door to the right to find your target.

Walk up the miniature stairs ahead. If you blow out the candle, it'll alert
guard 1, so try to avoid that. Jump up on the rafters and proceed all way down
the L-shaped hallway. When the guard has his back turned, jump down to get the
key on the floor. Now stand behind the guard and follow his movement so you
stay behind him, until you can enter the room. Now make your way to the right
door without letting guard 3 see you, and blow out the candle then unlock the
door. Guard 3 will most likely go into alert mode when you enter the the new
room, but it's of little concern. Just pick up the Smoke Bomb and jump on the
boxes ahead to reach a hole in the ceiling. Make your way across the path and
drop down the hole ahead. Peek around the corner to the final hallway to see if
the guard ahead is looking away.
If he is, throw the Smoke Bomb at him and run past him to the goal.

Strategy:
This mission is rather hard because eveything must be timed very spot on in
order to obtain an S-rank in time.
At the start turn right and begin to move towards the Bamboo Tube, but don't
walk too fast or guard 2 beyond it will spot you, but don't take too long
either as guard 1 on your left will spot you too. After getting the item,
position yourself along the right wall and aim for the bench on guard 2's right
side and run and dive under it. If done correctly, guard 2 will go "Hm?" and
look back. Crawl up to him and kill him from below. Now crawl out on the side
you killed him on, turn right and wait a second or two, then make a dash around
the left corner to pick up a Smoke Bomb. Keep running towards the corner ahead
and dive under another bench, face left and wait for guard 1 to come up to you.
Now crawl out and look to your left. Up ahead you should spot guard 3. Aim the
Smoke Bomb at him and run up to him and kill him. Behind him on the ground
there should be a shuriken. Pick it up. Turn right to see guard 4 up ahead.
Wait for him to move away from you and approach him. Just below his patrol area
on the right side, is a wooden slide door where you can hide. Do so and wait.
After killing him, jump up to his patrol area, take a few steps and look to the
left to see stacks of explosive kegs in the distance. Throw your shuriken at
them to end this mission.

Strategy:
Immediately jump over the railing and drop down. Make two Hayate's to the right
and wait for the guard to close in. Now make two Hayate's to the left. Wait for
the guard to pass the crate then Hayate kill him. Make a quick Hayate right and
wait for the third guard to come within range.
Now quickly run ahead and hide behind the second from the left tables ahead
that stand in the same position as the crates. Look to the right of it towards
the big statue. Very soon two ninjas will come, crossing paths.
You need to quickly time your assault just as their paths cross so you can
multi-kill them.
NOTE: Sometimes the middle guard start moving right as you jump down from the
railings. This will cause him and the left guard to arrive together.
I've noticed that this is actually a good thing since you earn a few more
precious seconds to make your stand against the ninjas.

Strategy:
I suggest using Rikimaru.
Start by running down the right path and you'll spot a ninja ahead, so run as
far as you can in the right hedge until you see him turning around. Now keep
walking along the L shaped hedge until you get a multi-kill icon, to finish of
him and the ninja hiding at the end of the hedge.
Inside the door up ahead is a small box you can pick up. Get it and place it
along the wall opposite of where the concealed ninja in the hedge was hiding.
Step on the box and jump up on the wall and jump down the other side, and make
sure NOT to land at the left, sandy area but on the wooden planks.
Now depending on your timing so far, the third ninja is either straight inside
from the door ahead, or he's moving towards the direction you're coming from.
I usually make a U turn here to either attack him while panicking at the door,
or catch up to him in the hallway.
The fourth ninja is corner perching at the beginning of the hallway.
If your newly slain ninja was at the corner, rather than the door, you should
spot him right away. Shuriken him to heaven. Now run to the opposite part of
this C shaped hallway to take down the last ninja hiding on the rafter there.
Now you climb the rafters yourself and make your way to the target in the
center room.

Start running all the way up to the first guard but don't dash-kill him, else
you'll be spotted. After killing him, turn around and run back until you hit a
pool of water, turn around yet again and look up to spot a marksman. Star him.
Now run past the bodies until the path turns to the left. Star the guard up
ahead and make a running jump across the first hole and pick up the sword.
Grab the wooden beam an haul yourself to the left. Pick up the key on the
ground and star the guard at the other side of the pond.
Make a running jump back over the first hole and use the beam over the second.
Break the locked door to your left using the sword and pick up/use the cat
found inside. As the cat, go back outside the newly opened door and follow the
left path untill you can go around some barrels and can enter a small hole in
the wall. Pick up the Burning Shuriken and return them to your ninja. Now open
the second locked door and make your way to where the paths split. Look right
and up to spot another marksman. Star him and the guard in front of the goal to
make your way towards the completion of this assignment.

Strategy:
By far the toughest assignment because it requires both skill and luck.
At the start, turn around and pick up the sword. Now turn back and run along
the left wall until you arrive at the well. Jump on top of it and turn right.
Now position yourself directly behind the bandit and slowly follow him closely
behind. The guard up ahead will react, but shouldn't be alerted either (this is
the luck part) now when both are close together and the guard hasn't reacted
(again a lucky part) you should be able to perform a multi-kill.
Enter the door in front of you, but don't be too hasty as the guard in the
inner yard must be able to move away a bit. Follow him inside the building
until he too is close to another sentry. Multi-kill them.
Now make haste outside the door and to the left as you only have a few seconds
to kill the thug outside.
Dump his body in the pond and turn around. Now approach the lantern close to
the sentry very carefully. When close enough to extinguish the flame, do so,
and the sentry will be alerted. Hide in the thicket behind you and wait for him
to search for you. When you see him bending down, searching in low places,
quickly run up to him, ready your sword and strike. Mission complete.

he passes the torch, move out and turn around the left corner all the way to
the dead-end and then turn right to find a small hole on the ground leading
into the building ahead. Start crawling inside but don't go all the way in yet,
as the guard inside will spot you. Wait for him to turn away first, then enter
and kill him. Pick up the key and fishing rod and exit through the hole again.
Be careful not to let the guard 1 spot you. Now ready the fishing rod and wait
for him to close in on the torch then reel him in. Hurry to the guard ahead
before he becomes alerted. Now turn around and position yourself around the
first torch and aim the fishing rod on the next patrolling guard up ahead when
he's passing his torch. Go to the left of where you killed the last guard and
open the door. Back of a bit as to be able to build up speed then start to run
inside to kill Tado as he's panicking to see you.

Strategy:
Run up towards the fire and stop a few yards away. Throw your fishing line into
the fire and reel it back. You'll notice someone being alerted. This is the
guard on the other side of fire. He'll only be in alert mode for a few seconds.
Watch when the moon icon is turning normal, then run past the flame on its left
side (be careful not to touch the fire or fall into the trench) and run up to
the guard (be sure not to touch him) and quickly kill him.
Move inside the big gates and enter the first thicket, closest to the lantern.
Now ready your fishing rod and aim at the sword that's on the wall roof ahead
between the lantern in front of you, and the furthest left tree.
Switch it with the fishing rod when reeled in, and wait for the walking guard
to pass you by. Kill him.
Now blow out the light in the lantern and the next guard will be alerted.
Slip into the thicket to the left of the lantern, and ready your sword.
Stab the searching guard as he runs into you.
Now run to the right path, along the left wall, as far as you can before the
patrolling guard sees you. You can defeat him from the shadows but it's easier
to hide behind the Ninja Veil. As he turns around just in front of you, which
he should, lower the Veil and kill him.
Run up to the right door and use the poison on the lock. Turn around to notice
a small box up ahead. Approach it and switch the poison with the Smoke Bomb
there. Now pick up the box and turn around, positioning yourself between the
huge gates. Now throw the box so it lands in door opening. The aiming can be a
little awkward and can cost you your S-rank in time if messed up too much.
If done correctly, a guard inside will be alerted, so ready the Smoke Bomb
(remember to have some distance between yourself and the door) and throw it in
the guard's face. Run up to him and kill him.
Enter the shack and keep to the left wall. When hitting the right going wall,
follow it until you see that the last guy noticing you. Quickly ready the Ninja
Veil and hide. As he's standing right in front of you, and turns his back on
you, lower the Veil, and quickly ready your sword and stab him.
