Haunted Mansion is a 3D action platformer game with a lot of fun to deal with.
Solving puzzles, I mean fun action-puzzles. You are the Master of situation.
Avoiding danger from the enemies (shoot them!) and at the same time try to
concentrate on how to escape from the puzzle's trap.

A nice and lots of variations on level designs are among other things that
keep this game a brighter one on its creativity, challenge and compability.
This is a game for everyone to enjoy its (horor)educational contents.
A good balance is the topic. The first time I went through, I got addicted to
the simple design yet creative gameplay.

Of course there is always a minority report to show you where is the bad guys.
Things are running smooth and predictable that I had already booked my
time travel return ticket for a nice summer holiday on Mars one year
in advance.

For those having IQ of an alien, they will find it a hard solving decision
whether to borrow or to rent, to buy or to wait.
Must re-rent those old movies "Alone in the Dark Elmo Street"
,"Silent Night" and "Dark Tower". Oh and "Dual Hurts".

It is not an RE series indeed, but a nice designed puzzle world with some
ghostsbuster thingy and some action(shooting) packed into one box.

I am only half through right now. I will be back with more firecrakers/ammo!

1. Zeke Hollowayl
   He is our accidentall(y) hero.Misleading by the newspaper job advertisement
   for the position of Assistant Caretaker (for the mansion). He will then be
   guided by Madame Leota to regain control of the mansion as well as to
   release imprisoned souls of some friendly old ghosts.Some 'friendly ghosts'
   will reward you with Soul Gems as a reward to upgrade your Beacon's power
   in order for Zeke to save our Haunted Mansion and bring back its original
   beauty from the hand of Atticus Thorn, the grand master of the Shadows clan

2. Madame Leota
   She is the lady inside the crystal ball, giving you hints or clues on how
   to do things and to escape from room puzzles. A very helpfull character.
   At the beginning she will grant you the Sacred Lantern/Beacon and the
   White Soul Gem.

3. The Duelist
   One of the 'Friendly Ghosts' who will reward you with Purple Soul Gem
   in exchange for his Death Certificate.

4. The Organist
   One of the 'Friendly Ghosts' who will reward you with Orange Soul Gem
   in exchange for his Death Certificate.

5. The Knight
   One of the 'Friendly Ghosts' who will reward you with Yellow Soul Gem
   in exchange for his Death Certificate.

   You bet he is the kinda guy who takes a happy responsible for all the bad
   things happening to our beloved mansion. He is not that powerfull enough
   physically, but he is a grand master mind in building puzzles/trap to
   stop anybody from releasing the dark magic spell upon the world of a
   Louisiana mansion.

Use it to Move your character around.

*R3 button
Use it to Rotate the Camera to see things around.

*Down/up/left/right pad
To show hint/clues from Madame Leota.

*Square button
Use it to Activate things. (Action buttons)
You can detect hiding ghost inside things using this button or to open doors
and to turn on the lights.

*Circle button
Use it to complete your task as a Soul Collector.
It sucks the soul you deploy from things after you use the square button.
Kinda ghostsbuster thingy. Press it multiple times to attract more than one
soul and then hold it to suck all the targeted souls. They won't try to escape
which make things (very)easier though.

*X button
Use it to Jump to a higher ground/platform.

*Triangle button
Use it to adjust the Look of the Camera.
Press it and the camera is viewing from behind you.
You can also use it in combination with R3 button to search around(no zooming)
If you are holding down the Fire Button (R1), press Triangle to Get a better
front view, and then use the L3 button to search for target (up, down, left,
right).

*L1 button
Use it to Lock on your movement.
You will be aiming at the same direction as when you press this button,
just use L3 button to move around and to avoid enemy's shoot.

*R1 button
Use it to Fire or Charge Fire by holding it down a few seconds depending on
which weapon level you desire to shoot at the enemy. If you want rapid fire,
you need to press it rapidly, if are holding it a bit longer, then you can
release a more powerfull shot (later when you get another Soul Gems). There is
an indicator at the lower left corner to show you all the various shots marked
with the color of the gems you have had given from your friendly ghost.

*L2 button
The Camera will show you the left side area. Unclockwise roll.

*R2 button
The Camera will show you the right side area. Clockwise roll.

!VI.                            HINTS AND TIPS                               !
!============================================================================!
Hints and Tips:
1. Basically when you open a door and go inside a room,it is dark. Your job is
   to find the light switch and activate it. On the way pick up some usefull
   items plus shoot some enemies. After, use square buttons on everything in
   the room to locate hiding ghosts and when they are running away, use circle
   button to suck them all into your Sacret Lantern/Beacon.

2. Always try to use your square button on things looking suspicious ot just
   press it to every possible thing to locate where the ghost is hiding.
   Usually the 'thing' will be shaking when you are near to it so you will
   know where they are hiding.
   +I will try to explain what things to be activated in a clockwise and
    chronological method. It means, I will be explaining which item to press
    the square button starting form the left side of the door when you first
    came in. That also goes for second floors. If any exception, then I will
    put a brief description.

3. When your health is full you can not use the Bravery Tonic.
   It will remain there untill you get hit/damage and decided to take advantage
   of it. Exception is for Mumbo Doll (Full Health Recovery), you can use it
   eventhough your health/bravery is in full/maximum condition (but why should
   you use it now?).

4. You are able to go back to the previous places since you have opened certain
   doors. This will enable you to use Health Replenish items you left behind.
   Keeping these usefull items for later use is advisable (or you do not need
to
   use them at all?).

5. Dead Certificates are very important since it is the only way to upgrade
   your weaponary. Make sure you get it completed before you meet with the
   appointed Friendly Ghost to get your reward(s).
   +I use -1- to indicate a ghost captured.
    I use (1) to indicate a Fortune Card obtained.
    I use <1> to indicate a piece of Death Certificate obtained.
    I use ^1^ to indicate a Bravery Tonic.
    I use *1* to indicate a Mumbo Doll.
    I use  @  to indicate a color Soul Gem.

6. You can avoid danger from your enemies in a few ways:
   *You can crush spiders by stepping on them but when there are some
    of them, it's better to shoot. Higher chance to crush them when you
    turn your back and step on them or make a curve turn back then step
    on them. If you go face to face then you are losing Bravery.
   *Instead of shooting all the ghosts chasing at you, activate the light
    switch will make them dissapear.
   *In some cases, you may escape yourself by running away, but some of them
    may come after you no matter where you are or just waiting for you to
    lower your defense. So. better finish the job.

7. If you think that activating more than one thing when doing ghosts hunting
   will save you some time? think again. It is not gonna work because the
   previous ghosts will then return to their respective places and that only
   means you have to reactivate the same things to make them reappear, thus
   it is not so called efficient.

8. You can always drag your enemies out and find a better place to shoot them
   Why? Because this will save your Bravery a lot in the end. Some places
   will give you surprise welcomes and it will be difficult for you to fully
   destroy them in time not to mention sometimes the space available is not
   to your advantage.

9. If you get out of a room after collecting items and reenter the room, the
   enemies will respawn for your pleasure. This way you can save your progress
   before reentering the same room. Please note that they will respawn only
   when you have not completed the room's puzzle or challenge
   or turn on the light.

10.All bonus items will be gone after completing one room, except for the
   original items designed to be available since the first time you enter
   the room.

11.Be carefull of random enemies.

12.Whenever you are critically injured, go to save point, save your game.
   Quit, then reload your save data. Your Bravery will be fully restored!
   Is this considered a full health cheat?

13.Sadly this game is not supporting the 'save to a new file' option.
   You have to do it 100% completed in the first place since you can not go
   back to each room and redo/replay the fun puzzle again. sighh..
   (And give us more work to do when creating the faq for this game ):

14.The camera is sometimes not to your advantage, especially when you are
   holding down the lock down (L1) button. You just can not see all the
   enemies around in one shot. Sometimes you need to release it, look around
   then hold down L1 again.

15.When the enemies show up, they usually make some noices. Listen to it and
   tighten up your seatbelt.

16.The lock down button is sometimes/usually not automatically focus to the
   nearest enemies chasing at you when you are running away while keep holding
   the button. You have to release the button then relock the enemies. Pheew.
   Not to mention that the (little-sprinter)spiders can run very fast and
   keep tracking of your shoes.

17.The brighnest option will be a much help to view things in distance/in the
   dark.

18.Remember, you can use one of the directional pad to get hint or clue from
   Madame Leota about how to finish the job in each room.

Connecting Door to:
1st floor only: Foyer -15-.
As you start, you are being briefed by Madame Leota (the lady you saw on the
crystal ball). You will then given the Sacret Lantern/Beacon, which is your
single weapon for the entire game? and a @White Soul Gem to be used incompanion
with the Beacon to be able to shoot at your enemies.
(Totally there are 6 Soul Gems; @White, @Purple, @Orange, @Yellow, @Blue, @Red)

Out of the basement, right ahead is a Haunted Mansion to explore.

You will then be given a tip on how to activate the lights.

You can go back to the basement by activating the wing statue next to the
fireplace, but nothing is there at the moment.

As you proceed forward, on your left (wall) (clockwise, remember?) there are
paintings lining on the wall. Activate the 3rd one. You will definitely
notice its shaking anyway. Inside the room is *1*Mumbo Doll (Full Health
Recovery). You do not need that now! Continue forwad, cut scene, here comes
first trouble. Also, a new tip has arrived to show you on how to shoot
the enemy by pressing rapidly the R1 button. You can also start practicing

the locking system (automatic locking and relocking to every enemy around and
surrounding you). There are 8 ghosts to show up if you are waiting for them
or just go directly to the light switch and activate it.

There is ^1^Bravery Tonic (replenishes approx. 1/4 of health) on the left of
the door to Foyer and to the right is the LIGHT SWITCH! Activate it, all the
lights on. Your Health bar/Bravery bar is increasing because you are
not afraid of light!:)~

Next thing to do:
*Find 15 hiding ghosts inside 4 activation things inside the room (clockwise)
and the basement.
1.First activation is on a big square box on the left side under a painting.
  The box is shaking so you won't miss it. -4- ghosts captured.
2.Second is on a big square box on the right wall. -4- ghosts captured
  plus you get (1) Fortune Card.
3.Third is in a brown rounded-basket? inside the basement just on the left.
  You captured -3- ghosts and get (1) Fortune Card.
4.Brown rounded-basket? opposite the table. Captured -4- ghosts and <1>pc
  of Duelist Death Certificate.

Congratulations, you have just completed the Great Hall.
As a bonus there is (1) Fortune Card floating above the table in the basement.

You can now talk to the old ghost trying to hide below the table.
He is afraid of somebody was coming for sure.

On the Hall, there is a lady ghost commenting on the bad weather/
unnatural storm.

Now, open the door to the Foyer, please.

Connecting Doors to:
1st floor: Conservatory -30-, Downstairs Hallway -170-
2nd floor: Game Room -50-, Upstairs Hallway -525-.

Remember, you can use one of the directional pad to get hint or clue from
Madame Leota about how to finish the job in each room.
Notice there is an old clock (Grandfather Clock) on the other side where you
can save your progress. One slot only to be overwriten unless you want to
create a new game data that you must go back to the Menu Screen and then
choose new game.

There are two side stairs, both will be collapsed when you are stepping on it.
The left one got no item. The right one got (1)Fortune Card, but then you must
shoot the 3 spiders. Actually you can just step on them and crush them!
(Or just run away and activate the picture next to the Great Hall but you
have to deal with them later!)

Move to the picture next to the door to the Great Hall, activate it, you will
then be inside the picture. Get going to the second floor. Go to right way,
passing the Game Room, crush a little spider. Now you are at the centre, shoot
some ghosts.
There is a switch next to the big centre picture, but you are unable to use it
at the moment. Activate the light switch opposite the big picture.

Ghosts hunting: -15-spirits
1. Second floor. A vase on the left end side. Captured -4- ghosts. There is a
   hidden room next to the Game Room. See the handle? Activate it to receive
   (10)Fortune Cards.
2. Second floor. A vase on the right end side. Captured -4- ghosts, <1>Duelist
   Death Certificate.
3. First floor. A chair on the left side. Captured -4- ghosts.
4. First floor. A chair on the right side. Captured -3- ghosts.

A ghost appears ontop of the chandelier. But you can not talk to him now since
you can not reach him.


Let's move on to:

Years have passed since our defeat. But we do not sleep yet, and the plaque
has proven quite effective at reducing the Brotherhood's numbers. Folly
it was to believe we were no longer a threat and to lower their defenses.
For, the shadows crawl eastward from the setting sun, so too does the reach
of the order-extending to encircle the globe.

A.Thorn
Grand Master
The Order of Shadows
October 31st, 1349 A.D.'

Continue forward untill the second party shows up. Shoot those ghosts and
spiders. No match at all.
To your left is (1) Fortune Card, to your right is ^1^Bravery Tonic.

Continue forward. Another ^1^Bravery Tonic ontop the piano. Activate the piano.
Automatically the books will be the bridge for you (moving platform).
On the way jump up to get(1) Fortune Card. Follow the platform. If you
fall down, you must start from the beginning. (did you see the big spider?)
When you reach the second floor/terrace, activate the violin. This will
result in changing course of the platform to the next Terrace on the
opposite. A set of steel chair is also attached to the terrace
just in case you need to redo the platform. Here you get (1) Fortune Card.

On the next platform, be carefull of the ghost. On the 1st floor, there are
some spiders crawling under your position. For safety reason (to preserve
your Bravery), I suggest you to drop down somewhere to destroy those spiders
and ghosts then use the newly attached stairs and do the second platform .
Keep going. Once you reach the terrace, 3 spiders are waiting for you.
You may need to get away first, destroy the annoying spiders. Take the stairs
and get (1) Fortune Card, activate the violin on the other corner.

The third and final platform. At the end, you must sneak in between books
which moving to left and right in order to block your move.
Watch the pattern and you should be alright.

Turn on the light please. Now the side stairs are attached.
There is *1*Mumbo Doll. But why should I use it now?

As a bonus there is another ^1^Bravery Tonic ontop of the table.
Remember the spiders are back on the 1st floor. Finish it.

Ghosts hunting: -20-spirits all in 1st floor.
1. Facing to the piaono, 3rd (mid)terrace, in a vase on your left
   -5-spirits captured.
2. Use the left stairs to get down. Activate the big painting to receive
   (10) Fortune Cards. In a vase infront of the stairs to the 1st (left)
   terrace, -5-spirits and received <1>Duelist Death Certificate.(completed)
3. In a vase on the right side of the piano -5-spirits captured.
4. In a pot of plant under the 2nd (right)terrace -5-spirits captured.

After, a group of musician ghost will be showing up standing in circle
doing rehearsing.

(If you manage to get to this part then you are guaranteed 7 lives,
(8)Fortune Cards, completed <3pcs> of Duelist Death Certificate)

!4.                            ~~GAME ROOM~~                                 !

Foyer, second floor

Items: ^4^Bravery Tonics, (19)Fortune Cards, @Purple Soul Gem.

Enemies: Ghosts, Spiders, Big Spiders

Connecting Door to: Foyer

There is (1) Fortune Card ontop of the left poker deck and another (1)
Fortune Card ontop of the right poker deck. Before you take it, it's
better to clean up the room a bit. Shoot all the ghosts and spiders
around the room.

Continue forward. Cut scene. After, rapid shoot the big spider ontop the
snooker table. As long as you are still in good distance to his mouth,
there is nothing to worry about.

Another (1) Fortune Card ontop the snooker table. Care to take it?
Alright, now is the snooker time!

All you need to do is . playing snooker. Only, somebody else holding the stick
for you and you are the pin pointed target. Try to move and the stick will
follow your movement, thus give you freedom in aiming the stick. Your goal is
to clear the table out of the balls, getting them inside the pocket of course.
Not as easy as saying words, there will be ghosts appearing to stop you from
winning.
There are some items you can get on the table:
^2^Bravery Tonics, (12)Fortune Cards
Hints/tips:
-There are 6 pocket holes for collecting the ball. That's the place where some
 ghosts will come after you when you are near to each one of it. For example,
 if you are standing near the downleft pocket, some ghosts will come out from
 'the same pocket hole'. But, if you run away from that point to get near the
 downright pocket hole, some ghosts will also come out from there causing you
 double trouble. Don't do that. Instead, finish your first job then move on to
 another side/corner in adjustment to aim the stick.
-Before the ghosts show up, they will make a strange-howling voice.
-Don't fall down the table, please. It will reduce your Bravery.
-You can move clockwise to collect all the items. Its better to have a plan.

The swicth is on the middle of the table. Activate it to get back to the
previous room.

Ghost hunting: -20-spirits
From the entrance facing to the snooker table.
1. On the left poker deck -5-spirits captured plus (1) Fortune Card.
2. On the table on the left side of the snooker table. -5-spirits plus
   (1) Fortune Card. You will have to beat another big spider.
3. On the table on the right side of the snooker table. -5-spirits plus
   ^1^Bravery tonic next to the entrance door.
4. On the right poker deck -5-spirits plus (2) Fortune Cards and
   ^1^Bravery Tonic.

After, you meet the 'friendly ghost' Duelist who will reward you the @Purple
Soul Gem. Your spirits collected will automatically be -170-.
Now you can hold down your Beacon to shoot more powerfull and better range.

(If you manage to get to this part well, then you are guaranteed 9 lives
and (7)Fortune Cards)

Go out and save your progress.

Foyer, first floor.

It's a dark hallway with many sealed doors.
There are some enemies hanging around waiting for your Beacon, too.
Watch out for the broken doors claws attack.
This place serves as a hallway :) for you to reach other rooms and to
practice your Beacon.

Once entered, go to right, the door is to the Kitchen.
But before you enter, go further a bit and you will encounter a big spider.
Destroy it and get your (1)Fortune Card.

Connecting Door to: Downstairs Hallway

One Lost Soul after the cut scene (I remember the movie, ring-ring).
You don't stand still when you meet her. Keep a safe distance from her,
jump away (in a circle if possible)from her while locking down (L1) and
always shoot at her. Or you can just shoot her to death and then grab
^1^Bravery Tonic.

Better clean up the Kitchen before go further. Wipe out some ghosts at the
center, some spiders near the fireplace and one big spider infront of the
entrance.

Collect all the Fortune Cards; (1)FC is ontop of the white sacks,
(1)FC is ontop of a table near the upper left corner, (10)FC is on the dish
rack attached to the big concrete. To get there you must jump to the rack at
the upper left corner. Jump to the higher rack and one more jump to get
(1)FC .

There are ^3^Bravery Tonics which are easily spoted if you walk around the room
one is around the top area behind the pillar,one is on the higher rack/platform
on the left side corner, the other one is ontop of the 3 barrels pile.

When you go to the top area there will be a cutscene.

What to do now?
The puzzle can be solved by targeting the flying plates to the bottles on the
tables or ontop the hangings, or on the floor, but you must avoid direct hit
otherwise you will get damaged.
The alcohol/liquid on the floor will then meet the fire causing a new path
to the fireplace.
Totally there are 16 bottles you need to have it broken by the flying plate.
1st. Locate the broken bottle from the cutscene and the blue alcoholic liquid
     set on a fire on the floor? Stand behind one bottle on the table next to
     the fire (the fire itself will not harm you). The flying plate will land
     on the bottle and broke it.
2nd. Left to the 1st. On the same table. Stand behind the bottle.
3rd. Left to the 2nd, ontop of the hanging. You need to be ontop of the barrels
     behind the hanging. Let the flying plate smash the bottle.
4th. Left to the 3rd, ontop of another hanging. You need to stand behind the
     hanging itself ontop of the table behind the pile of 3barrels.
5th. On the same hanging as the 4th. Just move a little bit to left or right
     from your current position (sometimes you do not need to move at all).
6th. Left area of the 5th. On the short table. Stand behind the bottle.
7th. On the same table as 6th. A bit to the left. Stand behind the bottle.
8th. Above the table of the 7th position there is a higher rack/platform(which
     previously you get a (10)Fortune Cards) attached to the concrete pillar.
     You need to be up there once more, stand where the bottle is and when the
     plate smash the bottle you need to jump up/jump anywhere else to avoid
     damage.
9th. Another bottle on the same platform. Behind the 8th. Stand where the
bottle
     is and when the plate smash the bottle you need to jump up or jump
anywhere
     else to avoid damage.
10th.Jump down from the higher platform. You can see 2 barrels and a pile of
     white sacks positioned like a triangle (front, left and right). Stand
     behind the white sacks so that the flying plate will hit the sacks,
bounced
     to the front and hit the bottle successfully :).
11th.To the right of 10th there is a hanging. Jump onto a table behind the
     hanging.
12th.On the same hanging as no 11th. Just move yourself a bit left/right from
     your current position.
13th.On the table behind the hanging of 12th. Stand behind the bottle.
14th.To the right of 13th. Stand behind the bottle.
15th.Behind the 14th there are some bottles. Stand infront of it. When the
     plate is going to hit them, move away to avoid crashing.
16th.To the right of 15th there are some bottles. Stand infront of it.
     When the plate is going to hit them, move away to avoid crashing
Shazam! the fireplace is now on fire.

Ghosts Hunting:
1. Facing the top area, on your left is a tall dish cabinet. -5-spirits.
2. Opposite the cabinet, there is a barrel (to the left of the white sacks).
   -5-spirits and <1>Organist Death Certificate.
3. The dish cabinet on the upper right corner. -5-spirits.
4. The dish cabinet on the left side of the fireplace. The one next to the
   stove. -5-spirits.

Cleaning up the room as usual from all the spiders and ghosts.
At the center top there is (1)Fortune Card. Another (1)Fortune Card near the
stairs on the second floor. One Lost Soul to defeat and spider too.

Go up the stairs. Another spider, just step on it.
Turn on the light. Oh no no lights and the candles are moving on its way.
Pick up (1)Fortune Card. Activate the handle, get the (10)Fortune Cards
inside the hidden room.

Go back to the other way, jump across the fence to a platform outside.
Go around it, you will get (1)Fortune Card, ^1^Bravery Tonic, one Bravery
Tonic again, *1*Mumbo Doll.

It is safer to go down by stairs. Shoot the big spider. One more big spider
outside. No big deal. Now, catch/touch all the candles (with your Beacon) to
turn it on. Or touch it with your turned on candle. Place it to the chandelier
ontop the long dining table.

Ghosts hunting: -20-spirits
1. A short table on the upper left corner. -5-spirits. One big spider appears
2. Facing to the top area, on your right side there is a wider short table.
   -5-spirits.
3. Second floor. In a vase next to the hidden room. -10-spirits-. <1>Organist
   Death Certificate. One big spider appears on the 1st floor.

After, you will be able to have a chat with a husband and wife ghosts.

One of the better level designed so far. The walls are moving as
we are moving toward them. The other side of walls will be moving too
as long as we are within the range of the walls. When you are moving far from
the wall, it will then back to its original position. They all will be stop
moving when you found the light switch of course.

The clue is to almost everypossiblefirsttime, give your priority to turn left
or go to the left area searching for the 4 big doors.
Not untill then the walls will stop moving.

After the entrance:
a) Move forward, shoot some ghosts, stuck, turn left, reach the door and get
   (1)Fortune Card.
Alternatively:
b) Turn left, continue forward untill it stuck. Turn right,
   continue forward untill it stucks. Turn right, continue forward,
   shoot some ghosts, reach the first door and get (1)Fortune Card.

Open the first door:
a) Shoot one big spider, continue forward, shoot some
   spiders (watch your back), turn left, shoot some spiders,
   reach the second door, get (1)Fortune Card.
Alternatively:
b) Turn right, stuck, turn left, stuck, turn left, turn right at the
   intersection, forward, choose the left path when there is a fork, shoot some
   spiders, continue forward, choose the left path on the next intersection,
   you reach the door and get (1)Fortune Card.

Open the second door:
a) Continue forward, there is ^1^Bravery Tonic on the bed.
   Go back to the entrance. Your back facing the entrance, a few steps ahead,
   turn right where you can see a table and the oval mirror (actually it is
   a portrait). Beat up two big spiders. Continue forward, turn left, stuck,
   turn right, reach the third door and get (1)Fortune Card.
Alternatively:
b) Turn right, stuck, turn right, stuck, prepare for some ghosts shooting.
   Turn left, stuck, left and forward. There is your door and (1)Fortune Card.

Open the third door:
a) Turn left, continue forward untill stuck infront of the
   leaning portrait. Activate it to open a hidden room on your left. Go to the
   room, explore and get yourself a (10)Fortune Cards on the bed. Get back to
   where the portrait is. Facing the portrait, turn right, beat up some
spiders,
   stuck, turn right, immediate turn to your right, fight one Lost Soul and
   some ghosts.
   From your current position, continue to your left area, fight one big spider
   Continue forward, reach the fourth door and get (1)Fortune Card.
Alternatively:
b) (Get the (10)Fortune Cards and get back to the entrance).After the entrance,
   turn left a bit, after a few steps, at the intersection, turn right and then
   forward, at the fork choose the right path, stuck, turn right,
   there is your door and (1)Fortune Card.

Open the fourth door:
a) Continue forward untill stuck, turn to right, continue
   forward untill you reach the exit door and the switch, but some ghosts are
   chasing after you. You may want to immediately turn on the switch to make
   the remaining ghosts dissapear. There is ^1^Bravery Tonic on the bed.

b) Turn right and forward untill stuck. Turn left and forward.

Before you enter, you may want to fight those big spiders crawling nearby
the door.

Welcome to the ballroom where everybody is leaving except for the big spiders
and their friends. This will soon becoming a battlefield. In order to survive
you must defeat a bunch of ghosts keep coming at you, a couple of lost souls,
and a couple of big spiders.
Once you detect your enemies, don't get too close because the camera often fail
to give us freedom in viewing all the enemies around, especially when you are
using the lock down function.
Other way is to move backward while keep shooting those ghosts and sometimes
keep looking at your back since there will be a couple of big spiders and
lost souls.

Allright, here we go.
There are ^4^Bravery Tonics in the hall. One is behind the left pillar, shoot
one big spider. One is infront of the second pillar on the right, you need to
shoot another big spider on the way. And before you even touch it, one brigade
of ghost is coming at you (21 of them). Finish them but don't go too close.
Get a good safe distance at the center area, lock down and let the charge shot
do the rest perfectly. You do not need to move a single bit at all!
Follow the right path to the right corner. Fight one lost soul. Charge shot
three times. Approach to the top center area, one more lost soul.
Use charge shot three times when the lost soul fly down. They won't even have
a chance to shoot back at you.

The other ^2^Bravery tonics at the center area is all yours (if you need to).

Now you can see a card infront of you at the middle point of the stairs.
When you are approaching, cut scene. A big blow of wind is throwing you back
to the entrance area. The point here is to make a good use of the big spiders
you will encounter in the next few minutes, then eliminate them one by one to
achieve your goal. You can use rapid fire but it is better to use charge shots.
For example:
Approach one -1st-big spider nearest to you on the left, let its web drag you
near, meanwhile prepare your charge shot (I will call it purple shot).
Move a bit to the right. Another -2nd-big spider on the right will then spread
its web to drag you near too.
It is now your chance to release purple shot to the -1st- on the left causing
you to be dragged only by the -2nd-big spider on the right,thus enabling your
step by step way back to the top area to get the card. You must repeat this
process in order to success.
If fail, you will have to redo everything from the beginning (or not).

Holding the lock down button make it easier to pin point the target.

Alright, I will give you the step by step.
1. Approach the 1st big spider on the left, be dragged. Prepare purple shot.

2. Move a bit to right. Let the 2nd on the right drag you. Purple shot the 1st
3. Move a bit to right. Prepare purple shot. Drag by the 3rd on the right
   then shoot the 2nd.
4. Move to left, dragged by the 4th at the up left. Purple shot the 3rd.
5. Dragged by the 5th at the upper left. Purple shot the 4th.
6. Let be dragged by the 6th at the center area, purple shot the 5th.
7. Dragged again by the 7th at the right, purple shot the 6th.
8. Dragged by the 8th at the center, purple shot the 7th.
9. Dragged by the 9th at the upper left, purple shot the 8th.
10.Dragged by the 10th at the upper left, purple shot the 9th.
11.Dragged by the 11th at the right, purple shot the 10th.
12.Immediately dragged by the 12th at the left, purple shot the 11th.

A cutscene will take over the rest. Where did the 12th go? running scared?
No, he will be back when you are ghosts hunting later.

Right after the cut scene, go/run to the entrance area to avoid being dragged
by the giant spider's web. Let yourself be dragged, lock down target, hold
your move button to down direction. When you are passing by the second line
of pillars, start shooting your purple shot/charge.
Keep shooting to it. It takes 10 times purple shots to beat the giant one down.
(or when you are near use rapid shot). You may get 1 hit from the giant spider
(I manage not to!).

Find the switch on the upper left corner. Ahh nice lights..oh no Atticus Thorn
is here. Where do the lights go? I need to give him a lesson or two.
Nothing much he can do, physically. One thing is for sure, you are going to win
in a short time. He can warp himself to a different place. No big deal.

Left of the switch, activate the picture to open a hidden room behind the
center big painting. get (1)Fortune Card on your right.
Inside tthe hidden room is *1*Mumbo Doll. Preserve it if you want.

To your right is one stairs to the light switch and ^1^Bravery Tonic.
In this stage, you have to turn every cranks (4 of them) so that all the
statues will change direction thus enable you to turn on the fire successfully.
One thing to remember is not turn on the fire untill you have completed
changing of all the statues' direction.

NOte:
+Be carefull of your stepping since the ground will collapse in about 2 seconds
+Do not put your step on the fireplace. It is very very hot.
+When you are out of your bravery, you have to do it all over again,
 but all the enemies you have wiped out won't be there.
+Leave some places untouched since you will need your stepping ground when
 you are coming back to turn on the switch (some by jumping over it).
+Sometimes you can not reach places with your jump, just look for a lower part
 of the statue (before the platform fall down, of course).

Let's start with no.1 on the right side. Once you are on it, some ghosts will
annoy you. Shoot them first, then hold your square button to turn the crank
untill it cliks.

Continue to no.2, easy, no enemies.
Continue to no.3, easy, some ghosts may shown themself. Be carefull.
Jump to the large platform and you will meet one big spider. Just ignore it,
jump over it to reach no 4. It is a bit tricky this time. You need to move
around to the right a little bit to reach a lower part of the statue.
There is ^1^Bravery Tonic next to it.

Go back to no.1 and to the stairs we go. Some spiders on the way. Ignore it.
Before the stairs another big spider. Finish it. Now to the switch!
All the fire is now back on its place, all the fallen platforms restored to
its original place. You are now free to explore.

Turn right on the fork, activate the right statue "brother zeke~~".Continue on

Finish him. Be carefull of his timing three way shots. Activate the upper left
statue "brother zeke~~,brother zeke~~"the acapella begins. Get(1)Fortune Card.
The Graveyard Mausoleum is rising from below the ground.
Before you decide to enter it, retrace to the first statue. Facing the road,
go to your left,
Ghosts hunting: -25-spirits
1. The second white tomb -5-spirits.
2. Keep moving untill you see the torch. The white tomb before you reach the
   torch. -5-spirits. Next to the torch is ^1^Bravery Tonic.
3. Continue forward, stuck, turn right, continue forward. The third white tomb,
   next to the tree. -5-spirits.
4. Continue forward untill you reach one tree with ^1^Bravery Tonic next to it
   (front area of the Mausoleum). Finish one skulletong. White tomb next to the
   Tonic -5-spirits. Got <1>Knight Death Certificate.
5. You will then find another ^1^Bravery Tonic next to a tree. And next to the
   Tonic is the white tomb you are looking for. -5-spirits.

Go to Graveyard Mausoleum if you think you are prepared. Or else,
go to your right then retarce your way back to the Grandfather Clock to save.

After, some ghosts at the alley show themself up.

Fortune Card location:
1. When you found the last member of the acapella on the higher ground after
   defeating one skulletong. Grab (1)Fortune Card.

Knight Death Certificate location:
1. In between of the tree, the Bravery Tonic, one skulletong and one white
tomb.

Down the stairs. Jump down to watery hall.There are ^3^ Bravery Tonics around
the room. Go straigh and turn a bit to your left. You will find a wall with
its clocking hand waiting to be activated. You have been warned!
Do you think you can survive untill the time runs out? (3minutes of horor)
Hint/strategy:
1. First of all there will be a little very dangerous troll who is running
   toward you. He will subdued HALF!!!of your Bravery just like that. Finish
   him with your charge/purple shot one time. Use ultra shot to shoot at
   Balrog and at the same time finish off one more troll.
2. Some ghosts may be annoying. Finish them along with charge shots.
3. Use Ultra Shots always/a lot. Its grenade explosive will take more damage.
4. When using Ultra Shots, keep your safe distance with this Balrog. DO NOT
   run around the watery hall as you will invoke massive destructive from
   all of the enemies there. No point at all. Instead, after a few Ultra Shots
   from where you stand, keep shooting while locking down, move to your right
   a bit by bit. Not too far form your first position please. Now bit by bit
   while escaping from Balrog's raging puch, find your way back to your first
   position. When you reach there,Balrog should have been taken care of quietly
   Yes, do the circle move.

   Alternatively, when you are playing with Balrog, do not rush. Take your
time,
   or should I say, waste your time! so it will be a shorter time after
defeating
   him.

4. You do not need to touch the Bravery Tonic. (I didn't get hit by him at all)
5. Since you are now at your origin position (infront of the clocking wall),
   why don't we make it the base point? Some ghosts will come,welcome them with
   your locking down charge shots. It will automatically locked down to every
   ghost. But sometimes release the lock and relock just to make sure of its
   aiming to the enemies come from your back!
6. Some ghosts and big spiders will show up. Some Shield Skelleton can be very
   annoying. Some of them show up together to add something to the chaos
   already. Now it is your decision whether to move a bit from where you are
now
   to get a better place, possibly get the Bravery Tonic or just save the flag
   from enemy's capture. If you choose to stay, then, give priority to lock and
   relock your aiming to every corner. That's it, time is running so fast
   isn't it? Ups the camera is not helping much.
7. And finally, you should hear to the voice/sound when the ghost is coming out
   because it is most dangerous if it comes undetected.

Cut scene. Now you can go through. When you stuck at the end, jump up to the
right
pile of ruins. Activate the big coven. *1*Mumbo Doll flies out.

Come inside and shoot some ghosts with your charge or ultra shots.
In the hall, at your right side there will be one Shield Skeleton.
Shoot it and becarefull of its three way shots. At the upper left corner,
there is another Shield Skelleton. Remember, you can aim in perfect
timing so that they won't have a chance to shoot back at all.

Approaching the top area, one Balrog is ready to crush you with his
megaton punch. Do not worry, use ultra shots, circle on him, take him down
easily.

On the other part of the room there is somekind of twilight zone below the
floor, but you must activate the right picture to open it for you.
Before you can reach the room there will be ghosts and shield skelleton.
Ghosts can passthrough the wall. Outside this room there is ^1^Bravery Tonic.
You can now activate the picture to open a hidden small basement room at
the center of the hall. Inside you can find *1*Mumbo Doll.

Now it is time to start collecting Fortune Cards:
1. Left side of the fireplace. Jump to those barrels to a higher platform.
   To the left, pick up (1)Fortune Card and another (1)Fortune Card.
2. Jump to your next platform ahead of you to get (1)Fortune Card. Activate

   Pick up (1)Fortune Card. Follow the platform and you will find another
   ^1^Bravery Tonic.
There are two cards above the shelter on the right side of the fireplace,
but you just can get it now. (you need to use the twilight zone)

Care for the twilight zone? Jump into it, and you will find yourself in the
same but different dimension room. You have to use the advantage of being
different in order to get all the Fortune Cards, pass through the security
for the switch handle and finally you will meet Atticus Thorn one more time.

In this dark red evil room, you must be carefull of windows because when you
near to one of it, you will be attacked by claw hands. Shoot all the worm?s
to the last one. Remember the two cards you can get it back then?Now, you can
jump onto the coven ontop of the table enabling you to reach the higher
paltform.

Now it is time to start collecting Fortune Cards:
4. Get a (10)Fortune Cards and another (10)Fortune Cards.

Do not forget to activate the picture. Whups, one crank is on the way to
the door lock system.
Go to entrance area. You noticed there is one closed steel door and the
switch is on the wall inside that room behind the closed door. Fortunately
in this twilight zone, the part you have been missing, that is the crank you
have been looking for has just brought back to its original place.
Activate it.
Now run with everything you got and jump back to the real world, keep running
back to the opened door. You realized that the door is closing on its own,
but you have got enought time to sneak inside just in time.

Now it is time to start collecting Fortune Cards:
5. Activate the picture at the upper left corner to get (1)Fortune Card.

Activate the switch! Cut scene.
Fight Atticus Thorn again:
He is as easily as before.
Hint/strategy:
1. Jump accross the lower platform where you get the Fortune Card. You will be
   in between Atticus Thorn. This is your base point.
2. Use charge/ultra shots when he is showing himself then use rapid fire to
   add more damage. Do not forget to eliminate those little worms.
3. While keep charging your weapon, use your auto lock on to anticipate from
   where he might be show up, then release your best shot.
4. When he releases return straight shot, just jump up or the left or right.
   Repeat the process. You will win the fight in no time.

Get out of the room and be ready for ghosts hunting:
1. Barrel next to the fireplace. -10-spirits and ^1^Bravery Tonic.
2. Barrel at the higher platform at the left side when you first come inside
   the hall. -10-spirits and ^1^Bravery Tonic.

After, you will meet the Knight, one of the friendly ghosts. And he will give
you an awesome reward so far, the Yellow Soul Gem.
Now your rapid shot will be three way and more powerfull too.

(If you manage to get through this part well, you are guaranteed 20 lives
, (8)Fortune Cards) and completed <3pcs>Knight Death Certificate; get the
@Yellow Soul Gem, -525-spirits inside the beacon..

   This is your first received weapon from Madame Leota and the only weapon
   you are using to wipe out your enemies and to save the Haunted Mansion
   (world?).

2. Soul Gems
   There are 6(six) of them in order of the colour; @White, @Purple, @Orange,
   @Yellow, @Blue, and @Red. In order to get all of these Soul Gems, you must
   Collect Death Certificates which are scattered around the mansion and from
   ghost hiding inside things too.After the certificate is completed you must
   talk a certain friendly ghost (usually after you have beaten a mid boss),
   then they will give you certain color of gem in return, thus will upgrade
   your weapon's power.
   -White Gem is given by Madame Leota the first time you saw her
    in the crystal ball.
   -Purple Gem is given by the Duelist in the Game Room after
    completing the Snooker puzzle and completed the Duelist Death Certificate.
   -Orange Gem is given by the Organist in the Ballroom after completing
    the Organist Death Certificate.
   -Yellow Gem is given by the Knight in the Pantry room after completing
    the Knight Death Certificate.
   -Blue   Gem is given by a 'Friendly ghost' in the    room  after completing
    the ...Death Certificate.
   -Red    Gem is given by a 'Friendly ghost' in the   room   after completing
    the ...Death Certificate.

3. Mumbo Doll
   'Handcrafted by Madame Leota to ward off evil and protect the bearer from an
   untimely death. Gives Zeke a permanent bravery boost'.
   This is a Full Health Recovery item.
   Looks like an ancient-green-coated-priest-kinda-doll.

4. Bravery Tonic
   'One dose of Dr. Penezek's Genuine Olde Fashioned Bravery Tonic is good
   for tounge warts, ear twitchin', navel lint, cowardice, and other ailments.
   Replenishes Zeke's lost Bravery'
   As it says, it replenishes approx. 1/4 of Zeke's health (bravery).

5. Fortune Card
   'Part of Madame Leota's long lost deck, used to channel spirits and
   provide protection from evil forces. Collect 10 to gain an extra life'

   This kinda a diary of Atticus Thorn.
