CoD 4 public beta only weeks away
The 360-exclusive online battle starts next month
The public multiplayer beta of Activision's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will begin this August for 360 owners. Activision tells us this date currently only applies to US gamers, with the UK date still to be confirmed. We expect more feedback on that later.
It was confirmed at E3last week that PS3 owners will have to sit this one out as the beta will be exclusive to Xbox 360.
The beta will give you a chance to offer Activision feedback via the official beta site, CharlieOscarDelta.com.
It is yet to be confirmed exactly how much you'll be getting in the beta, but Activision promises it to be a sneak peak at what it says will be the best multiplayer game this autumn. Bungie and its legion of fans may have something to say about that...
