Delay hits Tabula Rasa
Richard Garriott's "clean slate" needs a little more polish
Oct 3, 2007
Tabula Rasa producer Starr Long has revealed that the MMO will suffer a small delay while it slaps on a final coat of polish. Originally slated for an October 19 release, Richard Garriott's new venture in MMO land will now launch worldwide on November 2. Tabula Rasa pre-orders will still get to start playing three days early, but that will now kick off on October 30.
"This short but critical amount of time will give us time to address several issues including stability and balance as well as allowing our players to test the continent of Ligo (L38+) and our major changes to crafting for a few weeks rather than a few days,"says Longin a released statement. "Our entire development staff feels this extra time is needed as does our beta community. We feel confident that this extra time will make a difference on launch day."
