As seems mandatory with most new bits of gaming kit nowadays, the Wii U will supposedly change the way we play games. Again. But how will Nintendo's latest box of white-coated revolution achieve such a thing? It's all going to be down to the controller. Because the Wii U controller is special. It has an accelerometer, gyroscope, touch screen, two cameras, a microphone, speakers, a shit load of buttons and a soul. We lied about the soul. But it does have all that other stuff.
This official demo vid from Nintendo does a good job of showing some of the hitherto undiscovered gaming experiences that Wii U will bring to our lives.
There are some neat ideas in there and anyone with a little imagination can see the potential. Unfortunately, my imagination is taking a break right now, so I can't back that sentence up. So I'll take the easy way out and just finish with: So guys what do you think - can you imagine some cool ways that Wii U can be used in games? Let us know in the comments.
We will have actual opinions and impressions from the GamesRadar team on site at E3 for you soon. Until then, talk amongst yourselves. Thanks.
