E3 MVG 2011 Selection: Gears of War 3 interview

Although I was initially disappointed by the Gears of War 3 demo at Microsoft’s press conference, my behind-the-scenes look at the exact same mission – with a previously unseen switch to Cole, Baird and Carmine’s perspective, hints at a new love story and 100% more mech carnage – was enough to change my mind and earn this final entry in the trilogy a coveted GamesRadar “Most Valuable Game” Award.

Here’s my show-floor discussion with Gears of War 3 Executive Producer Rod Fergusson on the subjects of rap songs, time travel and saying goodbye. What do those have to do with a bloody first person shooter? You’re about to find out.

Damn, between this, Rage, Dead Island and the Team Ico Collection, September is going to be a very expensive month.

"What do those have to do with a bloody first person shooter?" mean "Third person shooter." It's not that difficult to distinguish between the two.

Hell yeah, new rap! This game is the highlight of the year for me.

That guy looks almost exactly like John Dimaggio, I am a little concerned that this game won't be able to live up to how awesome it loks.
