Let this man in shorts stir your heart with his accordion and Fallout 4
Music has always been one of Fallout's most underappreciated aspects. From the whispering winds and ghostly traffic sounds of the original game, to the pompous NCR brass of Fallout: New Vegas, music makes a massive contribution to the series' unique atmosphere. Thankfully, Fallout 4 is already getting its due in the most reverent way possible: an accordion theme cover.

Despite his name, YouTuber Jackson Parodi doesn't delve into Weird Al polka territory with his take on Fallout 4. It's completely sincere, and surprisingly good - I wouldn't mind wandering into a Commonwealth pub to find a similarly bespectacled and mustachioed performer playing it on stage. Come to think of it, I would be surprised if such a comically complex instrument managed to survive centuries of nuclear winter and hard living - post-apocalyptic accordion ownership would require a really high Repair skill.
Wait, sorry, Fallout 4 doesn't break out skills any more. I'd better get back to the Fallout 4 character creator and brush up on my builds…

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
