FEAR Combat is coming
[PC] Spooky shooter fans can play multiplayer for free
Vivendi has announced that FEAR Combat- a pack offering every multiplayer option for the supernatural shooter - will be available as a free download on August 17. Freeloaders will be able to square off with players who've ponied up for the retail release - but be warned, nooblets: this game has been out for nearly a year, so we predict a steep learning curve for new players.
The pack consists of all multiplayer updates that have been made for the first-person fright-fest, which means that once the pack is downloaded there will 10 multiplayer game modes, 19 maps, 12 different weapons and Punkbuster support to help counter online cheats.
To get hold of this exciting bundle, players must register at www.joinfear.com to get a Combat key code that's required to play the game once the download has been installed.
