Here's 18 minutes of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and the new Breach arcade mode

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was originally meant to be out by now, but at least Square Enix didn't keep us waiting until E3 to see a ton of new footage. Along with an 18-minute walkthrough of cyber-Prague, the developer revealed the game's arcade-style Breach mode.

Here's the standard campaign first, where Adam Jensen deals with a bunch of anti-cybernetic BS for a while and then wrecks some goons with his exploding cyber arm blades. If you don't want to watch him wander around Prague and pick up stuff you can skip to 11:15 to see the stealth and combat systems.

And here's Breach mode. The premise is that you're a "Ripper" hacking into secure corporate servers to steal secrets and other data. What that translates to is a bunch of stylized, polygonal environments where you'll shoot and sneak to get discrete challenges. You'll level up and earn credits and booster packs as you play (those packs sound like microtransaction territory as well) which will help you take on tougher hacks, and you can compete against friends for high scores.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is planned for release on August 23. Square Enix also announced Deus Ex Go, the latest in its mobile puzzle series, is headed to mobile devices over the summer.
