Japan doesn't get LA Noire until the 7th of July, but a fresh batch of images released just for Japanese consumers showcase some more of the game's environments, not to mention glimpses at some gunplay and admirably brutish-looking fisticuffsmanship.
Players feeling their hobby lacks the international cachet of the festival-film world are free to peek at these subtitled shots of the game's characters and pretend they're watching an Akira Kurosawa movie (he was the feller did the movie that Star Wars was based on); all others, just enjoy yet another taster of a title whose every newly-released detail commands the power to launch fresh volleys of speculation and anticipation.

Rockstar has also released a passel of new pics for their other upcoming noir-influenced crime epic, Max Payne 3; however, turns out you've seen almost all of these before and all they did was peel off the watermark. Here's the one bona-fide new image, which doesn't exactly blow the lid off the Payne 3 development with its revelation that the new game will feature violent gunplay in grimy locations. Still, it's kind of what you're signing on for, right?
