Jeff Goldblum's Jurassic World 2 casting proves that life *always* finds a way

Forgive me for shouting but JEFF GOLDBLUM IS BACK IN THE JURASSIC SERIES. Ahem. Sorry about that. Anyway, Jeff Goldblum is totally back on board for a third helping of dino-disaster as he makes a return in Jurassic World 2 as the world’s most suave mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm. Colour me excited.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Goldblum – who is undergoing a blockbuster renaissance of sorts with his role as The Grandmaster in Thor: Ragnarok – would be reprising his role as the cool and cocky Ian Malcolm in Jurassic World 2, after his appearance in the original Jurassic Park and 1997’s Jurassic Park: The Lost World.

Arguably the most iconic thing in the Jurassic franchise outside of that T-Rex, Goldblum’s character was referenced oh-so-briefly in the first Jurassic World with the inclusion of his book God Creates Dinosaurs. Now he’s back to complete the tyrannosaurus trifecta of dinosaur endangerment. Third time (un)lucky… right?

Also: Chris Pratt and Jeff Goldblum on screen together. Oh yes.
