Upcoming superhero movies: every Marvel, DC, and comic book movie in 2024 and beyond
You don't need the Time Stone to see what new superhero movies are on the horizon
Even though we're heading to the end of 2024, there's still plenty of new superhero movies to look forward to over the coming months. Venom: The Last Dance is now out in theaters, while Kraven is on the hunt this December.
Looking beyond that, 2025 kicks off with a ton of upcoming movies, such as Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts on the MCU side of things. Marvel Phase 6 then gets rolling with the Fantastic Four. That's not to discount DC's big plans under James Gunn and Peter Safran at DC Studios. DCU: Chapter One will finally debut on the big screen with Superman, while there are plenty of other announced projects to keep an eye on.
There's a lot to get through and keep track of, so that's where we come in. Hang onto your capes and read on for the lowdown on all the upcoming Marvel movies, upcoming DC movies, and more comic book films heading our way!

New superhero movies (TBA)
Several upcoming superhero movies have been announced and are in various stages of pre-development. However, there's no guarantee that any of these (bar a few MCU and DC offerings) will make it to the big screen. But they're worth keeping an eye on, nonetheless!
Previous DC projects, such as Gotham City Sirens and Green Lantern Corps, are now dead under the new DC Studios regime. Co-CEO James Gunn announced the slate for DCU's Chapter One: Gods and Monsters in January 2023. Meanwhile, Beyond the Spider-Verse has also been indefinitely delayed and removed from the schedules.
Luckily, there are still plenty of flicks in the works and a well of titles we can re-watch in the meantime. Speaking of, if you are still playing catch up on the various superhero universes, you'll need our guides on how to watch the Marvel movies in order and the DC movies in order.

I'm the Senior Entertainment Writer here at GamesRadar+, focusing on news, features, and interviews with some of the biggest names in film and TV. On-site, you'll find me marveling at Marvel and providing analysis and room temperature takes on the newest films, Star Wars and, of course, anime. Outside of GR, I love getting lost in a good 100-hour JRPG, Warzone, and kicking back on the (virtual) field with Football Manager. My work has also been featured in OPM, FourFourTwo, and Game Revolution.
