North Los Santos

Locations

23: There are two small islands just east of the power plant, along the east coast. The scrap of paper can be found on the northern most island. To make things easier on yourself, be sure to take a chopper over there

24: In the Vinewood Hills, follow the trail up to the top of the large hill just north of the Observatory. When you get up there, you will find a rest stop with a “Big O” stand. The scrap will be on the ground in front of it.

25: Head to the huge Vinewood Sign in the Vinewood Hills and climb up the “I” in the sign. As soon as you reach the top, you will collect the scrap.

26: Enter the backyard of the house there will a kidney shaped pool. Once in the backyard, go to the east side and there will be an open door leading to a room with a ping pong table. Just inside the door will be the scrap.

27: Head along route 11 leading south from Tonga Valley and you will come to a fruit stand on the side of the road. Stop there and the scrap will be on the ground in front of the map sign.

28: Oh a hedge maze! When you reach the Kortz Center on the top of the Pacific Bluffs, go to the rear of the first building and go down the stairs to enter the hedge maze. When you enter, make a left, right, right, left, left, and a final left to find the scrap on the ground.

29: In Chumash, there is an ocean side hotel along the Great Ocean Highway. Head over to it and go to the pool and bar area in the back. To the south of the patio area, there will be a bar with the scrap sitting on it.

30: Head to the cemetery here and you will see a small patch of water on the map. Go to it and the scrap will be in the center of the small island there.

31: Go to the movie lot and head to the southwest corner where the globe is on the roof. Climb the stairs there to get up to the catwalk and find the scrap on the ground between some electrical units.

32: Look for the apartment building in this area where you can take the stairs up to a half circle courtyard. Look on the edge of it to find the scrap there.

33: Head to the construction site just north of the Del Perro highway with a large yellow crane. Go to the lower part of the site and near the center will be a rectangular hole. The scrap will be inside.

34: There is super tall yellow construction crane located here. You need to get yourself all the way to the very top of it to collect the scrap of paper. Get to climbing! It takes a while!

35: Make your way to the roof of the Hawaiian Snow building via the back alley and there will some skateboard ramps there. Look in the center of the half-pipe for the letter.

36: Head to the race track and make your way up the stairs to the seats. Go to the second section from the south and then check the fourth row back. The scrap will be on the ground there.

37: If you have done the "Under the Bridge" exercises, then this bridge should be well known to you. Look for the scrap on the edge of the center platform points towards the northeast.

Went through the entire list after I had finished the story missions of the game. I had collected a couple of the scraps during those missions as they appeared. After following the list of 50 Ive found only 49? As I didn't keep a record of which ones I had found, is there any way to see what scraps you've actually collected so I don't have to revisit each and every location to make sure I collected there???? Any help would be HUGELY!!!!! appreciated

I can't find #24… I been there but nothing is there! Anyone else having this problem?

Idk if you've found it yet (I assume you have), but for anybody else coming to this page for help #24 on the map is in the wrong place. Just go to the observatory and head north til you hit the stand with the big orange ball. (That you can totally knock off and play with)

I've had so much fun finding the scraps with this guide! the cassidy creek one was a bit tough. It seems sometimes that the scrap paper appears a few second after you arrive because when I got to the light house I came up right where I would have seen it but I had to circle the light house around to find it. This guide is still perfect for me! I'm stuck at the airport one the part where you need a helicopter, i've gotta go get me one! I dunno which point I should hop off of if I did use the parachute.

#4 description isn't quite right there are 3 long green poly tunnels with two white ones nearer the road. the scrap is in the white tunnel second from the roadside.

#28 That maze was a big pain in the butt and I didn't find the directions very helpful at all.. I ended up having to run blindly through the whole thing until I stumbled onto it and then back out again.. it made me nuttier than squirrel poop! :O
  • bluenovax - October 7, 2013 9:22 p.m.

The maze part is also wrong. When you enter the maze it goes; left, right, right, left, right, left, left, left to get to the letter scrap.

There's a much easier and faster (albeit a bit risky) way to get to scrap #34 atop the yellow crane, and it doesn't require you to find and steal a heli. After you complete Dom's third mission, there's a parachute adjacent the Maze Bank building that will instantly take you up to its roof when you accept the parachute jump. Instead of driving the motorcycle off the ledge, though, you can get off it, turn around and parachute your way to the top of the building under construction across the street adjacent the crane. It's easy as long as you pull the chute as soon as possible and pull up. Once on top of the building, though, comes the more risky and slightly terrifying part: there but a few slender red beams connecting the building to the crane, and you have to skywalk upon them over to it. I recommend going into stealth mode with LT to slowly make you over. Once there, it's a simple matter of dropping down onto the ledge just below and climbing a couple ladders, and then, there's another conveniently located parachute jump just up there so you can go down in style!

You fail for the Number 24...
  • LILBIGGIEBIG - September 26, 2013 5:21 p.m.

Where can you find # 24?
  • mlaw2008 - September 27, 2013 9:55 a.m.

They were way off with where they marked #24. From where they have 24 marked, look northwest to where the observatory is (the place with large dome tops). Go there and then head north along the dirt path until you come to the Big O.
  • LILBIGGIEBIG - September 27, 2013 8:45 p.m.

I actually found it behind a mountain top. number 24 is off though.
  • drayven-peanutbuttercups - October 17, 2013 2:51 a.m.

Weird! I found it behind the Big O exactly where they said it would be!
