Halo's United Nations Space Command is NOT involved in Syrian conflict after all, BBC confirms

This is a good one. The BBC made an unfortunate booby last week when, during a lunchtime news broadcast, it used a logo for Halo's completely make believe United Nations Space Command whilst discussing the current real-world Syrian conflict. See the booby for yourself:

Obviously what the BBC meant to show was the logo of the totally legitimate United Nations Security Council. But if you type 'UNSC' into Google image search you'll get a good idea of how the logo malfunction occurred.

Above: One of these logos belongs to an organisation established in the 22nd Century by the Unified Earth Government. The other does not

In acknowledgment of the booby and to squash any rumours of Space Command's involvement in Syria, the BBC has issued the following response:

"BBC News makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of all images broadcast, however very occasionally mistakes do happen. Unfortunately an incorrect logo was used during a segment on last week's News at One bulletin and we apologise to viewers for the mistake.

"The image was not broadcast in our later bulletins."

I don't have the energy to really hate anything properly. Most things I think are OK or inoffensively average. I do love quite a lot of stuff as well, though.
