Hotline Miami coming to PS3 and Vita in spring

PlayStation 3 and PS Vita owners can partake in a bit of the old ultraviolence when Hotline Miami smashes through their door in spring. Publisher Devolver Digital today announced it will bring the unnerving neon massacre to Sony's systems.

Hotline Miami's top-down shooting style (like Smash TV on a bad acid trip) could make it well suited for a dual-stick control scheme, though it will be interesting to see how the game's exacting levels perform without mouse precision. The PC version has already racked up more than 300,000 sales.

Dutch developer Abstraction Games will handle porting duties, with creators Dennaton Games overseeing the work, and cross-buy will let players jump into either version with one purchase.
