Uncharted 4 recording new mo-cap despite having 'wrapped' last October
Motion capture for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was supposed to have been completed last October – but it now sounds as though creative director Neil Druckmann's tweet announcing 'that's a mocap wrap' was four months premature.
Yesterday, Naughty Dog lead animator Jeremy Yates tweeted a picture of himself back in the studio, along with the words, “'Donning the Drake suit just ONE LAST TIME.” It suggests either that certain scenes are being re-shot because the team isn't happy with them, or some element of the storyline has changed, requiring new mo-cap.

If there's a slight concern it's that the PS4 exclusive – purported to be Nathan Drake's last adventure – has already been delayed once, and shooting fresh footage so close to its April release date leaves little room for error. Still, in Naughty Dog we trust.
Lead actor Nolan North (the subject of Druckmann's previous tweet) has been busy since completing his scenes for A Thief's End, reprising his role of Peter Hastings in Pretty Little Liars, and voicing Superman in straight-to-video film Justice League: Cosmic Clash. (Which just happens to be released today.)
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is released for PS4 on 27 April in the USA, and 29 April in Europe.

I'm GamesRadar's sports editor, and obsessed with NFL, WWE, MLB, AEW, and occasionally things that don't have a three-letter acronym – such as Chvrches, Bill Bryson, and Streets Of Rage 4. (All the Streets Of Rage games, actually.) Even after three decades I still have a soft spot for Euro Boss on the Amstrad CPC 464+.
