Hideo Kojima. Just hearing his name can make a gamer shudder. Kojima! Kojima Kojima Kojima! Ooo, it tingles! But outside the industry, the auteur is not so widely recognized. Even Mads Mikkelsen, who will be part of Death Stranding, had no idea who Kojima was before he was approached for the job.
"I told my son, 'Do you know him?' and then my son said, 'Dad you are crazy you have to do this,'" Mikkelsen said at the first-ever Saudi Comic-Con. "Then I met him and he's just a wonderful, charismatic person; a genius in his field."

Mikkelsen also said Kojima tried to explain to him the entire plot of Death Stranding, but the actor admitted he "got lost." So if you've been following Kojima and his talk of ropes and sticks and thought, "What the hell is this guy talking about," don't worry - you're apparently not alone.
