For the first time in the series you’ll be able to upgrade your weapons, though whether this extends to swapping scopes and other attachments or merely choosing bigger and better guns remains to be seen. We’re also promised much more in-game dialogue from teammates and enemies as they dynamically react to what’s happening. Well, that’s “dynamically” when you’re not being treated to one of the game’s many trademark scripted cinematic sequences.
Given the vast multiplayer options available in the PSP’s recent Medal of Honor Heroes, Vanguard ’s multiplayer mode is a little stingy. With no plans for online play, you’re stuck with split-screen for up to four players over four game types: Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, King of the Hill and the new Scavenger Hunt in which players must capture supply drops scattered around the battlefield.
Things may well change at the last minute of course, but for now enjoy these exclusive screens and prepare to go out in a blaze of glory, WW2-style.
