Metal Gear Solid PSP demo out now
Offline deathmatch sampler available to download on official PSP website
If you're not too keen on throwing your cash blindly at Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, then Konami sends word of a downloadable demo of the handheld outing you can take for a test spin right now.
The demo is available via yourpsp.com, offering a taste of the full game's offline multiplayer mode with one map and support for up to six players in some new-fangled "deathmatch" mode.
Konami informs us that in this most mysterious of game modes the winner is the player with the most hits within the time limit, with double points awarded to the victor in the following round. However, player's toppling the current leader are awarded with triple points - ensuring constantly frenetic battles, the Japanese developer promises.
