But Minecraft is was better beforeit's release and it has more gamebreaking glitches then any game I've ever played...
  • talleyXIV - December 18, 2011 10:38 p.m.

Name one gamebreaking glitch. Seriously, you can not.
  • MetroidPrimeRib - December 19, 2011 12:15 p.m.

Major Chunk problems Creepers have terrible explosion distance (For instance, you could be 5 feet away one time and be safe and 5 feet away another and die. With fully enchanted explosive resistant armor)
  • MetroidPrimeRib - December 19, 2011 12:21 p.m.

By "Chunk" problems I mean a part of a map can contain 100 creepers and grow so large or grow to a certain capacity it destroys the entire game. Or atleast makes a void. In the middle of your town or hunting grounds.
  • talleyXIV - December 19, 2011 2:30 p.m.

Literally, both of those problems are non-existent.... or you are doing something really weird to make it happen. Plus, both of those are not game-breaking. If you can't play because a couple of creepers gather up, it is your own damn fault. By the way, chunk problems are mostly due to the PC you play on. I also have to point out the stupid line "grow to a certain capacity that it destroys the entire game." I have put down 1,000 TNT, and it did not 'destroy the entire game.' And I have no idea what the hell you mean with "grow to capacity." Creepers don't gather up unless you make them gather up. All these game-breaking glitches are a result of your own stupidity.

It's a spawning issue You obviously have no idea how the game works
  • Dmancapri - December 15, 2011 2:06 p.m.

SO ITS BETTER THAN HALO REACH?@?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?! :) Just kidding, spent more hours in minecraft than any other game
  • kor2disturbed - December 15, 2011 1:41 p.m.

I own this on the PC and I love it, but I am really just waiting for the console release next year. I'll probably get more enjoyment out of the console version plus I'm going to assume that connecting to multiplayer world are going to be a bit easier. The only thing I'm not sure about is how much will it cost? Is it still gonna cost $25, Or will it be around $15? If so I'm worried that they might take some of the features out. ReCaptcha: adsgettingOld All one word, I'm not kidding.

Lmao that is an awesome ReCaptcha.

I agree, I am excited to play minecraft on 360 (mostly because I don't have a computer that can handle it) but nonetheless, it'll be a day one buy for me.

There is TalkRadar minecraft server you know. We're on Twitter @ TDardMinecraft . Ask Cleanser 247 on the forums or twitter to be allowed on. I think he's knee deep in skyrim right now though...

I've been playing this game on and off since the alpha and I still love it. I can't recommend it enough! Great review!
  • ChaosEternal - December 15, 2011 12:56 p.m.

Agreed! I must have sunk hundreds of hours into MC at least, if not 1000+. I started playing of October of last year, and had a massive amount of fun until I stopped playing in May to do other stuff, like sleeping. CAPTCHA:München, yeentsu I'm not using a German keyboard CAPTCHA. :P
  • larkan - December 15, 2011 11:03 a.m.

Tried it, boring compared to Terraria. At least in Terraria you actually get to have FUN.
  • ChaosEternal - December 15, 2011 12:57 p.m.

I would have to say the opposite. While I also love Terraria, after a point there isn't much more to do. In MC, there are all sorts of interesting mods and servers to keep you playing many months longer.
  • HamsterGutz - December 15, 2011 4:18 p.m.

Lol I feel the same Chaos. I bought Terraria but I didn't find it quite as fun as Minecraft.
  • huntreilly25 - December 15, 2011 9:23 p.m.

Terraria and Minecraft are fun for different reasons, so I can see both sides. Terraria has better dungeons and mobs while Minecraft is wayyy better in terms of what you can create and build.

I've been watching Minecraft's progress since early alpha, on and off. Finally picked it up last week, but in general I've been fairly impressed with how they've handled the game and its development. The things they've added over the last year have really changed the game and fleshed it out in a big way, to the point where the game almost becomes completely different games depending on how long your game has been running, and where you decide to take it.
