To unlock the NBA Mascot Team you must complete a season averaging 50 points a game with one player (can't be created). You have must win the championship in the season that you complete!
Get The Hall Of Fame
Beat the season and get at least 900 points. At the end of the season with a player you have to get 900 points in the season and if you do you are in the Hall Of Fame.
Hot Shot
Well this is more of a hint than a code. when ur playing this game u see the 2 stars on each side of your players name. when u make 2 or more shots in a row without missing it turns red. (the stars) u have to make 2 shots in a row wit one player 4 this to happen. but if u miss 2 shots in a row its blue. so if u want to have a better chance of making your next shot and winning the game give it to a guy whose stars r red.
PERFECT SHOT
OK TO MAKE IT SO EVERY SHOT YOU MAKE GO'S IN YOU NEED TO WIN TWO PLAYOFFS AND THE THE SCORE HAS TO BE 30 POINTS OR MORE. AFTER THAT IT WILL WORK.

Unlock secret arenas
Enter the following cheats at the "select team" screen before entering a game. You will hear a confirmation sound if done correctly.
1.Shootout street arena-Hold L1+L2+R1+R2 and press Circle.
989 sports arena-Hold L1+L2+R1+R2 and press Square.

Easy way to get 50 greatest players
First you need two controllers you and a friend. You then remember the things you have to do like score 100 pts or what ever. Then when you play tell your friend to keep moving out of the way so you can keep scoring till you get 100pts. For the ones that say you need to get the most points or most rebounds or something, then you go to options change the time limit to two minutes a quarter, and go to the rules and change all the fouls to off, so there is no time limit in backcourt and stuff. When you start the game you then get one rebound by making one person shoot far away and moving all the other teams players out of the way. Then score one basket with the same person. After that leave and watch tv or something and just let all the time run out of the game and you will get the most rebounds and points in the game. Remember sometimes you have to get a certain person to do something like a point guard to get the most points so remember to use him. If you need a small forward to get a rebound then after the game starts switch the small forward with the center so he can get the rebounds. Sometimes if you extend the time you can do more of the tasks. Once I got 8 different superstars in one game.
