Activision has just released the first screenshots for James Bond 007: Blood Stone along with pictures of the new Bond girl, Joss Stone. But Joss Stone won’t just lend her likeness to the upcoming third-person action title. Stone will also be working on the game’s theme song, titled “I’ll Take it All.”

Developed by Bizarre Creations, James Bond 007: Blood Stone is scheduled to release later this year for the Xbox 360, PlayStation3, PC, and Nintendo DS. Check out the first screenshots and trailer below. It looks rather promising to us – so here’s to hoping that Bizarre Creations experience with racing games, like Blur and Project Gotham Racing, will help make Blood Stone better than the average licensed spin-off.

In February, The Daily Mirror reported that the new Bond film starring Daniel Craig, which was originally scheduled to release in 2012, had been canceled due to MGM Studios' financial problems. However, since then, other sources close to Daniel Craig have claimed that the project is “postponed indefinitely” – and that it is “not cancelled.”
