Ping from the Radar - Letter from the Editor

Hi readers!

2013 was a hell of a year for us at GamesRadar! New console launches, tons of awesome games, TWO 24-hour livestreams for charity, four new shows… the list goes on. The team here at GR has been working tirelessly to get great content in front of your eyeballs as often as possible. We couldn't have done it without you, dear reader, so thanks for being a part of our community!

A lot has changed though, from last year. My puppy is no longer a puppy, we have several new faces on staff, including an expanded UK team. Oh, and you may have noticed that the site looks different! Are you reading this on a tablet? A smartphone, perhaps? If not, you can! Yes, we're now compatible with your portable devices and you can easily browse through all of our content by tapping and swiping.

Now, back to the new stuff. We've been producing several new shows on our YouTube channel to bring you fantastic content about the biggest upcoming games. We'll still be doing livestreams as well--we have one every Tuesday night, and another on Wednesday from 3-5pm PT, where our Community Manager Greg Henninger hosts a show to hang out with you guys. Greg also runs an Ask GR show, where you can submit questions to the staff and select which ones to answer. Are you wondering which staff member can run the fastest? Do you want to see who can eat the most burritos? These burning questions can be answered… all you need to do is ask!

I know a popular question has been about the comments section and when that is going to be updated with the ability to edit, among other things. The team behind the scenes is working on it, and we hope to roll out a new system in the near future. We do listen! It’s coming!

As always, we're available to answer any questions you might have, so find us here on the site, on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and let us know what you think!
