Took me long enough but I managed to finally listen to the podcast Let me just say, this was by far one of the best episodes ever, the interactions was just so good, so many funny and awesome moments, it must've been the pressure"fact that it was live Happy 50th guys and hope this keeps going for as long as it can. As for QOTW: My brother has been and will always be addicted to COD, especially for his love for guns, he can identify every single gun in each game. He reached Master prestige in Black ops 2 and yet still plays from time to time. He shows off his superior rank by having both him and his class wearing Arnett Sunglasses.

QOTW: I was addicted to OG Tomb Raider, the first game I ever bought. I'd need those Arnette sunglasses to stop myself getting poked in the eye by Lara's pointy, pendulous polygonal breasts :)

I bought Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition during the Steam Summer Sale for like $7. And holy shit, I never thought I'd be this invested in a game. I went into the game knowing almost nothing about it. It kicked my ass at first, but the feeling of accomplishment after finishing near impossible goals is so great. It's already ranked #4 out of my 150 steam games for most playtime, and I've only been playing for less than a month. I've finished the story twice, and yet I can't imagine losing interest in this game. I love it.

I didn't put a reference, so... *puts on Arnette Sunglasses* Deal with it, and praise the sun without hurting your eyes!

I put about 400+ hours into Skate 3. I used to sit and listen to podcasts like Talkradar and Podcast Beyond for hours on end accomplishing nothing but instead just riding around. I wish I had some Arnette sunglasses that I could have given my character so he could have skated around in style.

    Got dang, 400 hours? Jesus.
  • duffer00 - August 15, 2013 9:34 p.m.

I don't really have what some would call... a life.

My great addiction is everything Pokemon since the age of 4. I wouldn't go anywhere without a gameboy of some kind in one hand as if it was surgically attached. Thousands of hours have gone into those games each being played and replayed dozens of times. My current playthrough of Pokemon Black 2 revolves around Arnett sunglasses: Krookodile and Squirtle leading my team and every member equipped with Blackglasses, Wise Glasses or Choice Specs (the choice of course being Arnetts).

Pokemon is habit that sunks it's teeth into me while I was young. I've owned at least one of the games from every generation, plus a bunch of the spinoff titles. I've bought cards, toys, and even saw Pokemon Live as a child. I may go years without touching the series, but it always pulls me back in, like an alchoholic agreeing to a drink at a wedding and suddenly finding themselves trashed.

Well, Fallout 3 was addicting, until the saves ended up being 15 megabytes a pop and I couldn't kill anything without the game crashing unless I was wearing Arnette sunglasses

The Community Segment theme song a capella. GLORIOUS. Thank you guys for everything you do with the site. It was a very special episode for me, but not for the fact that I hear my jingle on every podcast, nor the fact that I've been improving my English since I listen to you... It is special because without this podcast, I wouldn't be who I am today, so thank you and congrats on the 50th episode! Again, this is a QOTW that I can answer but just for fun. I was really addicted to Skyrim. When I first heard of it, I thought that it was something lame, but when I played it... God... So many hours... More than 250 hours in just a month... I needed some Arnette Sunglasses to go out to the streets, so people can't see how bad are my eyes after playing for so long

I think I'd have to say my biggest gaming addiction for a while was Kerbal Space Program. Alas, I was never all that good at the whole 'flying towards a target' once in space, and more often then not would send my hapless crew into either cold, unforgiving cold of deep space, or the hellish heat of the sun. At least I, being the responsible commander I am, supplied my crew with Arnett sunglasses, so they could get a tan/be burnt alive without having to squint, while looking damn stylish.

I was addicted to Majora's Mask when it came out. One weekend was spent collecting all the equipment upgrades and the glass bottles. When Monday came, my eyes were dark red and I wished I had a pair of Arnette sunglasses to hide them, but i had to use eye drops and I have a complex aout anything going near my eyes. It felt like they were being ripped out. I feel dumb for not asking good questions, but I am glad you guys did this live episode.
  • Tranquilbez34 - August 9, 2013 11:13 p.m.

My biggest gaming addiction would of either been Smackdown vs Raw 2007 on PS2 or Saints Row 2. I must of clocked hundreds of hours into both of those games.
  • TheGooseinator - August 9, 2013 10:28 p.m.

The game I was most addicted to was Pokemon Emerald for the original GBA. Despite the fact that I sucked, I clocked in at over 160 hours. The only way I could save myself was by putting on a pair of Arnette sunglasses, so I could no longer see the non backlit screen. Thank you, Arnette sunglasses. You saved my life.

Damn sorry I missed the live episode, can't wait to give it a listen now! There have been a lot of haters and a lot of criticism since the staff change last year, but you guys have been kicking names and taking ass. Thanks for all the great articles and hilarious podcasts, you have kept me sane some nights haha Congrats on the 50th episode and keep up the great work!
  • EzPzLmnSqz - August 9, 2013 9:22 p.m.

League of Legends.. i play this everyday like 10 games and hate myself for it but i can;t stop. Someone please help
  • EzPzLmnSqz - August 10, 2013 3:27 p.m.

I only wish i could play with some Arnette sunglasses i reckon they would boost my win ratio up by 30%.
  • winner2 - August 9, 2013 6:14 p.m.

My biggest addiction was guild wars. If my paragon Agent Sneaky had some arnette sunglasses, I'd have never stopped playing. That addiction was exactly why I chose not to get GW2.
  • selio - August 9, 2013 5:55 p.m.

: I am currently addicted to Crusader Kings 2. I am playing it so much that in the last few weeks I have over 100 hours in the game, and every time I leave the house, even at night, I am blinded. I need some ARNETT SUNGLASSES to continue my life amongst the living.
