Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition coming October 11

Rockstar Games has a good deal cooking for Red Dead Redemption fans who want to experience everything the open-world western game has to offer. Today, the developer announced it will release a Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition on October 11 featuring every morsel of DLC goodness, plus a new hardcore difficulty mode for the truly brave single players.

The Game of Year Edition will consist of the Undead Nightmare expansion, pitting players against an army of zombies; The Legends and Killers Multiplayer Pack, featuring additional online modes and equipment; The Liars and Cheats Multiplayer Pack, offering additional games of chance and challenges; and The Outlaws to the End Co-Op Mission Pack, containing six outings for two to four players. Extras also include all pre-order content (e.g the Deadly Assassin Outfit, War Horse and Golden Guns), the Solomon's Folly gang hideout add-on, and the newly released Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack, which adds new characters and locations to the multiplayer mix.

For now, the loaded edition is listed as a North American exclusive for the PS3 and Xbox 360. And while Rockstar did say more information was incoming, it did confirm there were no plans to release a PC version.
