Remastered Broken Sword 2 coming for iPads, iPhones, PCs and Macs

Revolution Software has announced that a remastered version of its point and click classic, Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror, will be swinging onto iGadgets, PCs and Macs very soon.

The remastered version will feature enhanced graphics, fully animated facial expressions, improved music, Game Center support, and a save system that will allow players to port their saved games to other compatible systems. It will also come with anew digital comic book penned by renowned comic book artist, Dave Gibbons.

“It has been a fantastic project to work on, and wonderful to have had the opportunity to improve key elements of the original and add special features,” writes Charles Cecil onRevolution's website.

This is the latest Revolution adventure game to be dusted off formobile systems. Previous remastered titles include the original Broken Sword and the cult-hit Beneath a Steel Sky.

Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror: Remastered is slated to hit iPads, iPhones and iPod Touches within the month, with releases for the PC and Mac to follow early next year.
