Respawn Entertainment plans debut at E3 2013
Former Call of Duty developers finally appearing after three years in shadows
Respawn Entertainment will finally appear at E3 this year, meaning a reveal for its mysterious sci-fi shooter is likely. Studio co-founder Vince Zampella tweeted that the developer composed largely of ex-Infinity Ward talent will make its public debut at the expo in June, and it will have something to show for its years off the grid.
I've gotten a 'few' questions about @e3expo plans this year. Yes, we will finally be at E3!February 25, 2013
I have no intention of showing up empty handed! I can't say anything else right now.February 25, 2013
The studio has kept almost completely quiet for its three years of existence, releasing only a blurry image here or a mo-cap video there to reassure us that work was indeed proceeding. Its talent helped shape this generation with the commercially explosive Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, so we're quite eager to see what they've been up to since then.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
