See TimeShift's dystopia

Here's a fresh glance at time-bending blaster TimeShift and its tyrannical world of gas-masked police and Nazi-esque population control. Hit the Images tab for more.

Due out this September for Xbox 360 and PC, TimeShift casts you as chrononaut colonel Michael Swift, a time-travelling test pilot who messes with the timeline of the universe and finds himself trapped in a hellish altered present.

With an emphasis on lots of bullet time, time stopping, time rewinding and - phew - time travel, TimeShift's impressive physics-and-things-exploding gameplay promises more than a few mind-twisting doses of action. Like hiding by breaking a box, jumping inside the debris and rewinding time to build it around you. One-trick blaster or enjoyable brain taxer? We'll let you know when we review the game soon.
