Sony's selling three first-party Vita games cheap, including one you simply have to buy

Sony is offering three first-party Vita games for the tasty, low price of £11.99 on the UK PS Store (14.99 Euros). One of them is Reality Fighters and one of them is ModNation Racers: Road Trip. There's probably a reason why these games have come down in price, if we're honest. Neither is very good. But it's the third and final game in the promotion that we recommend with every ounce of recommendation we can wring from our recommendation glands - Everybody's Golf.

Above: You won't catch Tiger Woods letting you play a shot from the side of a road

The game is known as Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational in the US, but it doesn't matter what it's called. It's brilliant. You may think it's old RRP of £34.99 is a bit steep for a cartoony golf game, but this is the exception. And now, even that one single reason you might have for not buying it has been pulled away like one of those Spanish tablecloths that must surely need washing, like, right now.

Above: I daren't guess how many hours I've put into this game on Vita. It says 88 rounds, but that won't count all the ones I restarted in anger. 40 hours, maybe? Mummy...

Considering the first-party nature of the games, we are surprised that Wipeout and Uncharted aren't included in the offer, but perhaps they're selling just fine as it is. Either way, if you have a Vita and you haven't bought Everybody's Golf yet, now's the time to do it. You won't regret it.

And in case you're looking for more games to feed your game-starved Vita, how about reading my personal story of PS Vita's game drought made me resort to buying Pure Chess. How did that possibly turn out to be a good thing?? There's plenty of great stuff out there.
