Ubisoft has released a new Splinter Cell Blacklist co-op gameplay walkthrough video. Splinter Cell community developer Zack Cooper and lead online game designer Richard Carrillo talk you through the action, which is taken from a stealth focused mission called Sea Fort.
It sees players tasked with infiltrating a sea-based installation off the English Channel, hacking three different stations and getting out without being detected. Carrillo says: “You can take people out as much as you want to, of course, hide their bodies, but at the end of the day if you’re detected, you have to start over. It’s definitely something for the hardcore fans.”
Integrated into the narrative and accessible through the campaign's Paladin hub, Blacklist's co-op missions see Sam Fisher joined by rookie Fourth Echelon spy Isaac Briggs in stealth operations set in locations like dark missile plants and outdoor maps in broad daylight. Ubisoft says co-op will offer four mission types and 14 maps, while also supporting split-screen play.
Splinter Cell Blacklist is set for release on August 20 in the US, August 22 in Europe and August 23 in the UK.
