Telltale Games selling iPad/iPhone favorites for 99 cents

Puzzle Agent, Sam & Max, Wallace and Gromit get price chopped for Christmas

'Tis the season to reduce app prices, and Telltale Games is getting into the spirit by reducing its popular iOS adventure games to just $0.99 apiece.

Now until January 3rd, Telltale is selling Puzzle Agent, Puzzle Agent HD, Sam & Max Episode 1: The Penal Zone and Wallace and Gromit The Last Resort for one cent shy of a buck in Apple's app store. All titles have received a player rating of 3 out of 5 stars and above, with Puzzle Agent HD claiming top spot with an impressive 4.5 stars out of 5.

In actuality, the sale is a promotional stint for Telltale Games' release of Tales of Monkey Island Tales 1 HD for iPad, but we'd like to think Telltale would have forged ahead with its seasonally cheap deals regardless of a new release or not.
