Tomb Raider DLC revealed, hits Xbox 360 first

Square Enix has announced the first round of Tomb Raider DLC, which will be a timed exclusive release on Xbox 360.

Priced at 400 Microsoft Points (£3.43 / $5 / €4.80) and launching on March 19, the Caves & Cliffs multiplayer map pack will feature three new locations playable across all four of the game's online modes.

  • Scavenger Caverns: An extensive subterranean network of caves used by the island's scavengers as an underground prison
  • Cliff Shantytown: This scavenger settlement was built high up on the island cliffs. Its many layers hide some of the deadliest traps on the island
  • The Burning Village: A raging fire has embraced an abandoned Japanese village, the burning buildings offer multiple ways to escape or engage your enemies

Launch dates for PS3 and PC have yet to be revealed. Xbox 360 timed exclusive Tomb Raider DLC was first announced at E3 2012.

“Lara Croft's latest adventure is easily her best,” we said in our Tomb Raider review, adding: “Tomb Raider's single-player campaign alone is worth the price of admission, but its multiplayer component will be a welcome addition for those looking for a bit more longevity.”
