Wii in motion

If you're still trying to get your head round just how Wii will work, hopefully theses videos of E3 attendees getting to grips with the remote should help.

Taken on the E3 show floor, we've got footage of gamers tackling the best Wii has to offer by waving the remote around to the following games:

WarioWare: Smooth Moves (AVI, 12.1MB)- right-click to download
Tackling the minigame mayhem by using the remote in a number of different ways. Just before the start of each game there is an on-screen indication of how you should hold the remote and how to move it.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (AVI, 8.49MB)- right-click to download
Footage of someone attempting the darts minigame - making a throwing motion then releasing a button on the remote to send the on-screen dart through the air.

Super Mario Galaxy (AVI, 7.19MB)- right-click to download
Getting to grips with the low gravity action and Mario's mind-bending jumps.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (AVI, 7.56MB)- right-click to download
Here the remote is used in conjunction with the analogue stick on the nunchaku to guide Samus through the level and blast at the extra-terrestrial terrors she discovers.

Red Steel (AVI, 6.48MB)- right-click to download
Using the remote and nunchaku in a similar way to Metroid Prime for Ubisoft's first-person shooter. Watch how small the movements must be in order to aim accurately.

Table Tennis tech demo (AVI, 5.58MB)- right-click to download
Gently guiding the on-screen floating bat along the edge of the table in order to return the ball.
