Sounds awesome! Can't wait to scoop mine up Thursday night. I actually played around with XB1 on the tour in DC and didn't have any issues with voice commands. I love the snap feature too. I played Killer Instinct, Ryse, and Dead Rising 3 and loved all of them. Wanted to play Forza 5 also, but had to leave for a meeting.

So let me get this straight. Of the 11 things I will either love or hate, kinect, the thing they are making people pay an extra $100 for, takes up 4 spots, and only 1 of them is positive about it. And, surprise, its about how good of a cable box the Xbox One is. I hate to sound so snarky, but I just cant see a voice activated cable box with motion controls that happens to also have games as a viable option for gaming.

You only sound slightly snarky. My main beef with Kinect is that I don't see really innovative applications to gaming, or even basic functions for games that aren't dancing. And to be fair, MS's approach is that "People already know Xbox does gaming, let's show them what else it can do." It's a shame it doesn't do those other things particularly well.

See, that's where I have an issue with that. They are putting the Kinect into all units, and it doesn't even have any killer apps or games that would warrant it. Heck, the PS4 has Playroom, which (while not groundbreaking or innovative) at least gives you something to do with your camera, and they don't even make everyone need to have one. Kinda sad when the competition has better use for the tech when they arent even making it mandatory Again, sorry for sounding so picky about this

It's a shame that the next gen stuff won't be as fantastic as they said it would be until next year.

Well thats all good I guess, i will never understand why people like the Xbox controller so much I can use a 360 one fine but I much prefer the Dualshock 3

Bleh. I have no idea why MS is trying to shove their terrible UI down everyone's throats. No one wants all this tile app stuff. It's fine on a phone, but does not belong on my PC or my TV.

I REALLY like the UI. It's slick.
