You'd think with a name like 100ft Robot Golf, the title would say everything there is to know about this PlayStation VR game. You control a 100ft-tall robot and knock over cities as you play golf. Hey, I was right there with you on that, until the announcement trailer switched to a Neon Genesis Evangelion spoof and insinuated that the pilots (or at least one pilot) of these enormous, city-destroying golf machines are cute little corgis. What a twist!
In another video from PlayStation, Dan Teasdale at dev studio No Goblin admits that the game is dumb - hey, his words, not mine - but also reveals that it was Sony that approached him with the idea to make 100ft Robot Golf a VR game.
Both PlayStation VR and 100ft Robot Golf have a 2016 release window.
