15 whole minutes of Metal Gear 4 loveliness

Wednesday 10 May 2006
As ifyesterday's awesome Metal Gear Solid 4 trailerwasn't enough, Konami has now shown us a 15 minute long movie of the game at its E3 press conference here in LA - and trust us when we say you simply have to see it.

The movie gives us further insight into the warfare of Snake's future. We all know he's older and greyer these days, but yesterday's revelation that this could be his final mission makes the events here seem more harrowing. Everything feels more dramatic when such a beloved lead character's fate isn't certain.

Snake shows off a new camo suit, blending into the scenery for a limited time, while pursued by two metal monstrosities. The detail and movement in the graphics is superb and, although this is still technically a teaser and not in-game action, it looks like Hideo Kojima and his team are throwing everything they've got into this.

The clip will be live onKonami's websiteat 11am this morning and weighs in at a hefty 100MB. There's likely to be a high demand for the download, so don't be surprised if you have to wait a while. But it'll be worth it - just you mark our words.
