20 Awesome Freddy Krueger Death Scenes
There will be blood...
Coach Schneider A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985)
The Victim: Coach Schneider.
Cause Of Death: A good old-fashioned shower stripping and whipping. Easily one of the campest movie deaths ever committed on film (let alone in the Nightmare franchise), Schneider (Marshall Bell) is actually killed by Jesse (Mark Patton), whom Freddy is working through. It's steamy. It's saucy. It's bum-bruisingly funny.

Ron Grady A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985)
The Victim: Ron Grady.
Cause Of Death: Jesse's best bud (and object of his affection) comes a-cropper while wearing teeny tiny shorts, which we're sure Jesse had no complaints about. Thanks to budget restraints, Ron's death goes for minimal gore, but the sight of Freddy's claws busting through his bedroom door as he impales Ron (Robert Rusler) is enough to give anybody nightmares.

Will A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987)

Cause Of Death: In an attempt to fight Freddy inside his dreams, Will (Ira Heiden) turns himself into a wizard, replete with pure '80s magical effects. Unsurprisingly, Freddy's not exactly scared, setting a monstrous wheelchair on him before clawing him to death in a foggy alleyway.
Freddy's Killer Quote: “I'm sorry, kid, I don't believe in fairytales!”
Joey A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988)
The Victim: Joey Crusel.
Cause Of Death: He survived his first clash with Freddy thanks to a little help from his dream warrior buddies, but Freddy doesn't like loose ends, so Joey's (Rodney Eastman) first on his list when he's resurrected (by fiery dog piss...) Asleep on his waterbed, Joey dreams of a gorgeous supermodel, which – of course – is just a trap set by Freddy, who slashes open the waterbed and drowns Joey.
Freddy's Killer Quote: “How's this for a wet dream?”
Carlos Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991)
The Victim: Carlos.
Cause Of Death: You can tell a franchise is running out of ideas when it has an animated death scene. We've left that honker off this list, but we had to include this nasty hearing aid skit. Yeah, Freddy kills Carlos (Ricky Dean Logan) by scratching his claws over a blackboard, causing Carlos' mutated hearing aids to explode his whole head...
Freddy's Killer Quote: “Oh, Carlos. Lend me your ear.”
Chuck & Terry Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994)
The Victims: Chuck and Terry.
Cause Of Death: In the faux-real world of New Nightmare , Chuck (Matt Winston) and Terry (Rob LaBelle) are special effects guys who are working on a new Nightmare On Elm Street film. Their main job? Creating a new Freddy glove – which, naturally, kills them when it miraculously comes to life. We see Chuck and Terry killed in Heather Langenkamp's dream; their 'real' deaths actually happen off-screen.

Marge A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984)
The Victim: Marge Thompson.
Cause Of Death: Nancy's mother has the dubious honour of being killed not once, but twice in Wes Craven's nightmarish original Elm Street. First, she's suffocated in her bed by an on-fire Freddy (the two disappear spookily into the mattress), then she's dragged through the tiny window in the front door of the Thompson's home...

Donald A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987)
The Victim: Lt. Donald Thompson aka Nancy's father.
Cause Of Death: Nancy's pops comes really close to damning Freddy to Hell for good when he attempts to bury the killer's bones in a junkyard. Sadly for him, Freddy has other ideas, possessing said bones and tackling Donald in skeleton form. After a brief skirmish, Donald's sent flying and is impaled on a massive slice of broken glass.

Chase Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994)
The Victim: Chase Porter.
Cause Of Death: Ignoring the road signs that state driving while tired kills, Chase (David Newsom) drives home despite barely being able to keep his eyes open. Which, of course, is when Freddy strikes, his claw slicing through Chase's seat and burying itself in his chest. Cue blood, screaming, and a very upset Heather Langenkamp.

Julie Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994)
The Victim: Julie
Cause Of Death: In a clear nod to the first A Nightmare On Elm Street, Freddy's final kill in the standalone Nightmare franchise is a mirror of the first he ever committed on-screen. Babysitter Julie (Tracy Middendorf) is dragged up the wall in a hospital room and butchered on the ceiling, all while nipper Dylan (Miko Hughes) watches on.
