PT Silent Hills
The PlayStation 4 teaser for a cancelled Silent Hill game provided some of the biggest scares of 2014. This map attempts to recreate that horror in Minecraft. You travel around a small loop of corridors, but elements change with each lap. The effect is unsettling at first, but that soon escalates to raw horror. Raw. Horror.
Nightmare Before Christmas resource pack
This pack retextures Minecraft in the style of the Tim Burton movie A Nightmare Before Christmas. Expect lovely snow and some canny retextures of Minecrafts villains. The Enderman now has a Jack Skellington look, and the creepers are designed to look like Oogie Boogie.
