360 no longer FEAR-less
[360] Terrifying FPS to hit 360 this fall
The previously PC-only mega-hit F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) is bringing its horrifying first-person shooting to the 360 this fall. Vivendi announced today that F.E.A.R. is officially under development for the fledgling console and will be shown at the upcoming E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo... if you haven't already been totally inundated with what those initials stand for) in Los Angeles.
A paranormal shocker in the spirit of X-Files (but with a lot more action and shooting), F.E.A.R. on the 360 will come with all of the insanity-inducing single-player gameplay that made it one of the most popular PC games released last year. In addition to the solo campaign, the 360 version will come supercharged with additional multiplayer options... just what the Xbox Live doctor ordered. Look for continued E3 coverage direct from the show floor next week, and look for F.E.A.R. itself next fall.
