By: solipherus

Botcon ad
Awesome special mag cover for the recent convention, featuring Autobot Kup in a nasty scrap.
By: markerguru
Artist comments: This is the cover to the 2009 botcon convention comic. I won't go too much into whats going on here. needless to say that young kup is in for one hell of a fight.
anyhoo, josh did the colors on this, and i must say i'm very pleased with the way it turned out. i'm always surprised by what that guy can do.
Decepticon portraits
The movie's bad guys get their own line-up. Well, it's only fair, right?
By: dylanliwanag
Artist comments: This is my last Transformers movie fanart. Sorry I didn't include Bonecrusher and Frenzy and I did only half their faces.
Toying with Optimus Prime
Using one of the many Optimus Prime toys for inspiration.
By: rex-203
Artist comments: AB = Fast Action Battlers Optimus Prime, from the TF Movie toyline. This one was a piece I submitted to Hasbro as a sample of my work.
Franchise cross-over
From the comics - Optimus meets Snake Eyes.
By: jprart

More franchise fun
More GI Joe/Transformers crossover madness. COBRA working with the robots?
By: diablo2003
Artist comments: Wrap around cover for G.I.Joe/transformers #4 drawn by me with colors by Pens'n'Pixels and Danimation
Ironhide Counter Attack
Ironhide looks angry. You wouldn't like him when he's angry.
By: zgul-osr1113
Artist comments: "You feeling lucky, punk?"
No, Seriously!
This works was the most difficult of all my Transformers fanart. whew!
Prime location
The movie's Optimus Prime (but then, he's so iconic he almost always looks the same) gets a hero image.
By: markerguru
Artist comments: so here he is in all his movie goodness colors.
i love what josh did here.
i asked him to color it as close to the colors of the movie, and i think it looks really cool.
so yeah, i'll have a bunch of them at botcon. so for anyone who is able to go, you can pick one up and get it signed by Peter Cullen.
More Prime
Great pic of the Autobot leader.
By: adonihs
Artist comments: The hardest image I've ever done.
The most time consuming (besides The Journey Begins).
The most detailed (I hate robots from this point on).
I don't think I'd be able to paint another autobot or decepticon unless ILM, Michael Bay or friggen Hasbro themselves hired me. *wink*
Oh btw..you guys owe me for not painting FLAMES.
In a Blurr
Blurr from the comics.
By: khaamar
Artist comments: Cover for the upcoming IDW's Transformers' Blurr Spotlight, drawn by the great Casey Coller and written by Shane MacCarthy
Starscream battles
Starscream vs Wreckage from an upcoming comic.
By: markerguru
Artist: ok, so this is the cover for issue 2 of alliance.
it features starscream taking on wreckage.
now i'm not going to say what's going on in the issue. also you see that screamer has a bit of a new paint job. i won't be commenting on that, so please don't ask about that, you'll just have to wait and find out.
Megatron rises again
More from the Alliance comic. Looks like Megatron's having fun.
By: markerguru
Artist comments: so i thought i'd post this up today.
this is the cover for issue 02 of defiance.
i can't remember when these book will be out, but it should be sometime this month.
i like the red glow that josh did coming off megatron. i can see the evil oozing out of him. it be neat looking.

More amazing artwork for the convention. Some of the 'bots have a classic 'toon paintjob...
By: markerguru
Artist comments: I think josh did an amazing job on the colors for this picture. i know it was driving him insane working on it, and i give him high praise for being able to get it done for the show.
anyhoo, this is a pic with both the classic's toyline, and the new universe toyline. we picked between the regular american release colors, and the japanese release colors for some of the figures.
now one of the characters is a fanpainted character named artfire. he's the second inferno in the image. i just liked the way the character looked, and i liked that toy that i had to add it in.
Some other noticeable differences are the new face i gave devastator, plus a new hand. i felt it looked better this way for what i have him doing.
i changed the heads of roadbuster, dragstrip, and inferno to give them a more classic g1 feel also.
Bumblebee
Another shot of everyone's favourite Autobot. Well, when he's not over-emoting.
By: r aptorkraine
Artist comments: I made a few of these to mark the release of the new Transformers Movie
Monotone Megatron
The movie's villain in an action shot.
By: jrsov

The endless battle
Decepticons vs Autobots. Who will win? Our money's on the Autobots.
By: strifestyle
Battle bot
Megatron in fighting form.
By: zhuzhu
Artist comemnts: just saw the movie yesterday,it's great ! "transformers"was my sweet memory before 20 years ago,and i am so crazy about it.
Dai Atlas
Little seen Autobot leader in comic book form. He appeared in one episode of a cancelled 'toon series. No, he's not Welsh.
By: makotron
Artist comments: This was made for the infamous Genesis book, I never got paid for this too. It depicts Dai Atlas in a "oh look I'm a big frucking robot dashing on a dark cave.
Guardian
Bumblebee does his battle thang.
By: zeo-x
Artist comments:So anyway since I made my own Prime I thought I'll do Bumblebee to go along with it.
I was a lil disappointed that Bumblebee wasn't a Volkswagen beetle. The same thing could've been done. He starts out as the old beetle, Mikaela the shallow comments about him being a crap ol bug and he changes into the new Beetle.
Works just the same. Though I'd have to agree that the 08 Camaro is a pretty cool car but c'mon, everyone loves a beetle.
Bumblebee up close
Bumblebee and friend - Sam as a Robot. Apparently it's based on fan fiction which sees Sam turn into a machine after his close encounter with the Allspark at the end of the first film. We really don't want to read it.
By: dragondream08
Artist comments: I . . . have no excuse.
Okay, I just have a kink for bot!Sam (Transformers 2007 movie, all the way!) and this is an expression of it; it's actually supposed to be fanart for the awesome, awesome fanfiction Dance with the Devil by Morgan O'Connor.
I just have a thing for stories that speculate on the fact that Sam was holding the AllSpark when it was destroyed, because come on , seriously. So much potential!
Legends
Prime, Megatron and - yay! one of the Dinobots (looks like Sludge to us) from the classic series/toys.
By: zeromayhem
Artist comments: Book cover illustration for Transformers Legends.
Brawl
The movie's take on Brawl, in concept form.
By: eldelgado
Artist comments: This is a series of color jobs i did for Hasbro more than a year ago. It was for preliminary designs of the Transformers movie robots for the licensing show of 2006.
Couldn't show anything until now. Or Spielberg would come to my house and kick my ass.
It was a cool job, pencils are by Don FIigueroa
Movie comic time
The cover from the movie comic adaptation.
By: kieranoats
Artist comments: The cover I colored for Issue one of the Transformers the Movie Adaptation
In his Prime
The film's version of Optimus gets a wallpaper.
By: codexcdm
Artist comments: A TF Movie Wallpaper featuring Optimus Prime.
Bumblee into battle
See what we mean about him being popular? He, along with Prime, is easily the most heavily featured 'Bot on the roster.
By: orcasaurus
Arist comments: I don't even know.
I was doodling Bumblebee's head and almost gave up but then WHOA WHAT THE F**K three days later and my hands are twitchy and I've lost my eyesight
Cinematic Prime
A moody shot of the leader 'bot.
By: raptorkraine
Artist comments: Made a few of these to mark the new release of the Transformers Movie
Thanks for Looking
Optimus portrait
Another pic of the main 'bot, in his flame-painted movie style.
By: eldelgado
Artist comments: This is a series of color jobs i did for Hasbro more than a year ago. It was for preliminary designs of the Transformers movie robots for the licensing show of 2006.
Ultra Magnus
Ah, a classic. This looks to us like the Gen 1 version of the character.
By: kieranoats
Artist comments: This is the cover for the issue of Transformers I'm doing.
It's a spotlight issue focusing on Ultra Magnus, the lineart is absolutely amazing, drawn by the super-uber-ultra-to-the-magnus artist
Prime's last stand
Prime faces the usual big battle, this time an alternative take from the end of the first movie. And he's whupped Megatron even more this time...
By: zeo-x
Artist comments: Anyway, this is my take on how Optimus would look like in the movie.
He transforms into the cab-over-engine semi truck we all grew up to, in place of flames are the trademark white stripes, and of course, the whole picture represents how I think the movie should have ended.
I mean, C'MON, we ALL know Optimus could kick Megatron's sissy ass any day. Michael Bay obviously did not know that.
Timelines
Another comic cover - this time, from the Timelines series. Looks like Megatron's upfront.
By: funpubcomics
Artist comments: So, the solicitation for Transformers Timelines Issue 3 went out yesterday through Previews. Here is the all-new cover.
Starscream
He's a moaner, isn't he? This image is actually titled "Whiny Bitch"...
By: orcasaurus
Artist comments:Remember when I drew Bumblebee and said I would never do Bayformers again? HAHA I LIED SO HARD.
Main difference with this one was that I wasn't using an outline at all and it was all one layer. holy jesus my hand aches a bit
Robo zombies
Is robot zombies even possible? Galvatron thinks it might be so...
By: dyemooch
Artist comments: This took forevers; kinda. Total, I'd say this was less than a day's work...
I spent about four hours a day on over a span of four days? 16 hours, and I still think it sucks.
BUT! Here it is. I'm proud of it, overall. I mean, there's always room for it to look better, but I'm puttin this on the "finished" pile for now.
It's fully functional Galvatron VS Zombie Galvatron and his army of the offline!
Wreckage and co
WreDecepticons catch a break. Are they allowed breaks? Is it in their Decepticon Union contract?
By: marble-v
Artist comments: Wreckage , Payload , Swindle , Dropkick , Dreadwing , Stockade , Incinerator and Booster-x10s (red and yellow) taking a short break.
Bumblebee, at last
A head and shoulders shot of the film's take on 'Bee.
By: orcasaurus
Artist comments: NEVER DRAWING BAYFORMERS AGAIN
I can't take much credit for this because I was using a reference, but it was pretty fun to colour. ): 1974 Camaro > 2008 concept.
