Working With Aronofsky
Watson's latest venture is a role in Darren Aronofsky's biblical epic Noah , yet another unexpected choice from the young actress. The film itself looks suitable dark, and before it's even been released here in the UK, Emma has found herself defending her director from critics who are calling the movie blasphemous.
Watson sensibly points out that "If we had gone with exactly the original story, Noah doesn’t say anything until he steps off the ark. You would have been watching a silent film". That definitely doesn't sound as fun as seeing Russell Crowe go all Old Testament Maximus Decimus Meridius.
"I did NOT wake up like this!"
She may be universally acknowledged as one of Britain's most beautiful people, but Watson's keen to remind people that she has a lot of help when it comes to polished red carpet appearances.
With a cheeky nod to Queen Of All Beautiful Things Beyoncé's new track Flawless, Emma both acknowledged that she was nailing this whole movie star thing, whilst still keeping it humble. Twitpic perfection.
The Tale Of The Three Brothers
The eerie animation seen in the first Deathly Hallows movie was one of the visual high points of the entire Potter series, as the crew went completely off-piste and brought in designer Ben Hibon alongside Framestore to help create a truly unforgettable sequence.
Watson leant her impeccable RP English to the scene, narrating with a calm and stillness that only added to the atmosphere of the piece.
Dream Collaborations
Proving that's she's not interested in making a quick buck (after eight Harry Potter films, who would be?), Watson confessed that she chooses her projects based on the director involved, telling online magazine Rookie how she's "a real director chaser. I really want to work with Danny Boyle or Ang Lee, I’d love to work with Lynne Ramsay, I’d love to work with Tom Hooper, David Fincher…"

We can't wait to see what she picks next.
Green Warrior
She may have designers throwing their best wares at her at every opportunity, but Emma Watson cares about more than looks, y'all. She's got a fashion conscience.
In early 2010, Emma created a fashion line for ethical clothing brand People Tree, telling critics that she has absolutely no desire to try out designing, but instead really cares about fair-trade and ethical fashion.
As if that wasn't enough, she also stripped down to her birthday suit to promote Earth Day and going green for photographer James Houston's book Natural Beauty.
Woman Of The Year
At the tender age of only twenty-three, Emma Watson received manly mag GQ's Award for Woman Of The Year, a title previously held by Gemma Arteton, Lily Allen and Lana Del Ray, to name a few, and the publication praised her post-Potter career, saying that "even the most optimistic couldn't have predicted Watson's current streak."
The accolade did nothing to change her ever-humble attitude, something she credits to her best friend who every single time she trips, stumbles or speaks out of turn, likes to incredulously remind her "well, you are the Woman Of The Year".
A Sad Goodbye
The premiere of The Deathly Hallows: Part Two was always going to be an emotional affair, as cast, crew and Potter lovers came together to say goodbye to this spectacular series.
Emma had the not-so-easy task of speaking to her peers and fans and watching her try to keep it all together sends us reaching for the Kleenex every time. Her comforting words to Daniel Radcliffe are a real high point: "Dan, you didn't get lucky. You were, and are, the perfect Harry Potter".
Charming Jimmy Fallon
Proving once again that she's easily the most charismatic talk show guest ever to exist, Watson gave one of the most effortlessly sweet interviews with then Late Night host Jimmy Fallon as she promoted The Perks Of Being A Wallflower back in early 2013.
After sharing her favourite sandwich spots in Pittsburgh - they put the fries actually IN the sandwich - Emma volunteered to teach Jimmy a few of her best dance moves, and the duo paid homage to Gene Kelly, did their best Danny and Sandy from Grease , and finished off with a klutzy yet completely adorable version of the Dirty Dancing lift.
Love Rivalry
J. K. Rowling broke the hearts of, well, pretty much everyone when she confessed that the Hermione / Ron relationship that fans so adored was only written "as a form of wish fulfilment".
Rowling and Watson had a conversation about the series as part of an interview for Wonderland magazine, and Emma proved her journalistic talents when she cajoled Rowling into sharing her thoughts on the topic: "In some ways Hermione and Harry are a better fit". Cue mass hysteria.
Hats Off
After five years of studying, Watson is now only two short months away from receiving her degree from Brown. Normal students may bag their credits in four years, but we reckon Emma was allowed a couple of semesters off here and there to, y'know, shoot some movies and receive some awards.
Her academic achievements definitely aren't going unnoticed however, as last week talk show host Ellen DeGeneres presented Watson with a totally rad graduation present - an electric blue Ellen themed mortar board.
There was "no version" of Sonic 3 that wouldn't include Live and Learn according to director Jeff Fowler: "The fans would hunt me down"
