50 Worst Comedy Movies
Laughter free-zones
Fred: The Movie (2010)
The Movie: The full-length movie of implausibly irritating, helium-voiced YouTube sensation, Fred.
If you've never heard of him, do yourself a favour and keep it that way.
Worst Gag: Pixie Lott (for it is she), is given a small dog as a present, and mistakes it for a squirrel.
A squirrel! How we laughed…
Guest House Paradiso (1999)
The Movie: This feature-length Bottom spin-off follows in the sorry footsteps of On The Buses to compete for the title of worst TV adaptation of all time.
Cartoon slapstick plus endless fart jokes might work okay in half an hour doses, but as a full-length film, it's a test of endurance.
Worst Gag: Somewhat incredibly, Vincent Cassel makes an appearance as a cod-Italian punter.
Stranger still, he's easily the worst thing in it.
Meet The Spartans (2008)
The Movie: Vague mickey-taking meets gratuitous cleavage shots in this movie "parody" that makes Scary Movie look like the height of satire.
Worst Gag: The Deal Or No Deal sequence should give you some idea of quite how scattergun the approach is…

Dirty Love (2005)
The Movie: A starring vehicle for Jenny McCarthy (wait, come back), in which one character sticks a fish up his arse.
What else do you need to know?
Worst Gag: when poor old Jenny gets her period in the middle of the supermarket. Lovely.
Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps (2000)
The Movie: Dispensing with the occasional sweetness of the original, this is a 100-minute showcase for Eddie Murphy to raid his dressing up box and make fart jokes.
Worst Gag: The Klumps head out for dinner, and guess what? They start farting. Who'd have thought it?
All About Steve (2009)
The Movie: Sandra Bullock scooped an armful of Razzies for this wretched tale of a stalker and her hapless prey. A classic comedic set-up, there…
Worst Gag: When Bullock's mentally troubled anti-heroine accidentally falls down a mineshaft.
Rat Race (2001)
The Movie: A desperate attempt from the Zucker brothers to recreate the kind of screwball comedy with which they made their name. Sadly, the zany antics on display here never get out of first gear.
Worst Gag: Any of the scenes involving Rowan Atkinson's supremely irritating Enrico Pollini, whose main gimmick is a cod Italian accent that wears thin within seconds…
The Hottie & The Nottie (2008)
The Movie: A nigh-on unwatchable vanity vehicle for Paris Hilton, who is presented as some sort of feminine ideal, while her comically unattractive mate comes in for a whole heap of abuse. A genuinely ugly movie.
Worst Gag: "It's a very well known law of physics," splutters the film's resident gag-man. "The hotness of one girl is directly proportional to the ugliness of her best friend." Feminism in action.
Sex Lives Of The Potato Men (2004)
The Movie: Johnny Vegas and McKenzie Crook stumble through an orgy of boorishness in this low-rent Brit-com. Awful title, awful film.
Worst Gag: The moment when Crook shows an old woman his cock. As grim as it sounds.
Say It Isn't So (2001)
The Movie: Chris Klein and Heather Graham are lovers, but they may also be siblings. the premise starts off gross and it only goes downhill from there in this ropey episode in the Farrelly Brothers' back catalogue (they share production credits).
Worst Gag: The arrival of a stroke victim who proceeds to turn the air blue through the speech programme on his computer.
George was once GamesRadar's resident movie news person, based out of London. He understands that all men must die, but he'd rather not think about it. But now he's working at Stylist Magazine.
Sonic 3 director explains the thinking behind picking those new post-credits arrivals: "It's always 'which character is going to give us something new?'"
The Inside Out 2 panic attack scene is one of the best depictions of anxiety ever – and something Pixar director Kelsey Mann is incredibly proud of: "I couldn't be happier"
