No longer bound to Konami, Metal Gear Solid series creator, writer, producer and director Hideo Kojima is now free to get involved in whatever projects he sees fit. In the real world, this means we'll probably see him get scooped up by a new developer/publisher or watch him form his own, independent team. But the real world is boring.

I like to think that these all come from a single timeline where Hideo Kojima was the only person to survive the Entertainment Industry Wars. So now all entertainment is Hideo Kojima.
